Used to install a shade
I used this set to install a sunshade. With careful measurement, the installation was easy. I added a second set of carabiners and turnbuckles on the other side to improve future adjustability in the vent the shade stretches. So far, I'm very happy with the hardware.

Used this hardware on an 8‘ x 10‘ wind sale It worked perfect. I substituted the provided screws with longer rust resistant screws. Using this package was a lot more convenient than trying to source out the parts, individually and considerably cheaper would purchase again.

No strength to it
I liked the idea of having a kit to put up my shade cloth and wouldn't have to buy several things. Unfortunately it snapped within 2 days of being up, so I just used some string which is still going strong.
