"Tea, Earl Grey, Hot"
I bought this box of the Twinings Earl Grey Tea Bags 100 per Pack.I love Earl Grey Tea!But, the North American version of Twinings Earl Grey, (yellow-orange box), has not always loved me back! This is the UK version! It is delicious and I have no tummy issues with it.It comes in a grey and purple box of 100 tea bags, that weighs 250g.The UK version is so much more flavorful than the the North American version, which is the yellow-orange box of 100 bags, that weighs just 200g.This UK version has 2 silver Mylar bags inside the box, and each of them holds 50 string-less tea bags. Each Tea Bag in the UK version is NOT individually wrapped.I very CAREFULLY open one of the Mylar bags and take out the amount of tea Bags I need.I keep the rest of the Tea bags in that Mylar bag and fold its top over.I place it into a ziplock sandwich bag and place that back in the Grey and purple Twinings box.To me, this UK Earl Grey Tea version is much more flavorful, probably due to having a bit more tea in each Tea Bag! There are 50g more of Tea in this UK Version box!The other thing I noticed with this UK version is that I no longer get indigestion from this Earl Grey Tea!Whenever I would drink even just 1 cup of the Twinings North American version of Earl Grey Tea in the Yellow-Orange box, I would end up with indigestion!I finally stopped drinking Earl Grey altogether for a few years, until I decided to try this UK version.I am so glad I tried this one! Now I can have several lovely cups of Earl Grey and not pay for it with indigestion.BUT, I really wonder, what is in the North American version that does not agree with my stomach?Anyway, I am super happy with this UK version of Twinings Earl Grey Tea, so I have it on Subscribe and Save now!UPDATE 01/07/2024:I just went to buy some more of this Twinings Earl Grey Tea Bags 100 per Pack.- BUT WHAT DO I FIND ???- SOME SERIOUS SHRINKFLATION GOING ON HERE for 2024!!!The price stays the same, but the product amount is now reduced down by 20% !!!!So you'll only get 80 Tea Bags per box instead of 100 Tea Bags per box!I still will not buy the USA version of this tea because I don't like it.So I'll be shopping around to see if I can find a better price for the UK version.

Tally Ho!
I grew up in the Midwest. Tea is pretty much a foreign substance if it's not cold over ice. Over the years I have learned a love for hot tea, and for the last decade have used Twinings American blend of Earl Grey. I noticed about a year ago that Twinnings had another Earl Grey offering, and after addressing the god Google, I discovered that this particular tea is the English brew. The Twinning site suggested that the English version had a more robust flavor. So I bought some. They were right. I do find the English blend to be fuller flavor-wise than the American blend. I highly recommend it to those of you that like a bigger tea flavor.

Helps working 15h / day
Twinings Earl Grey Tea has been an absolute revelation for my husband's long workdays. As someone who finds coffee too jittery, he's discovered that this original Earl Grey blend, straight from the UK, is his perfect ally in maintaining focus and energy for up to 15 hours a day. The distinct, aromatic flavor of bergamot not only invigorates his senses but also provides a smooth, steady stream of alertness without the unwanted side effects of coffee. Each tea bag is a testament to Twinings' commitment to quality, offering a consistent, delightful experience that has become a crucial part of his daily routine. It's not just a tea; it's a game-changer for productivity and well-being.

It is twinning, but shrinkflation is at it again.
The tea is great, as it has been for the last 30 years. But you lose 20% to shrinkflation.

Black/purple box, U.K. version of Earl Grey
I love this tea! This U.K. blend, purple and black swirly box Earl Grey is my favorite hot tea, much better (imo) than the yellow box version made for sale in the U.S. I contacted Twinings through their U.K. website and they confirmed the blends of Earl Grey (and some others) are different for the U.K. and U.S. They said they tailor their blends to each market because Americans don't like the more flavorful U.K. versions. However, many of us Americans DO prefer this U.K. black and purple box Earl Grey. This purple box has two sealed foil packs of 50 tea bags each. The tea bags don't have a string or tag. I like this packaging and put the opened foil pack into a sealable container such as a glass jar to keep the tea bags fresh. The U.S. yellow box version has each tea bag individually wrapped, but the tea is not the same and the steeping directions are a little different. With Prime shipping it arrived in only a couple of days, so apparently amazon now keeps a supply of the U.K. version in its U.S. warehouses. Amazon also has the U.K. gray and orange box version of Lady Grey as well as the yellow and blue box U.S. version. I wish they would also carry the U.K. versions of Earl Grey loose tea and their other U.K. teas. The USA blends are NOT the same.

Simply undrinkable
First of all, I've been drinking Twinning's Earl Grey tea for over 30 years daily. So I know what it should taste like. This version of Twinning's Earl Grey is not anything like the one that I usually drink (I guess it's the American version in the tea bag). I've drank loose tea as well before and they are pretty compatible to the ones in the tea bag. This tea is in tea bag and does have Earl Grey scent when you open it. But the problem is after you brew it. You completely lose the scent and it tastes like an old tea that's been sitting around for few years. It was to a point that it nauseated me. I thought it was just a fluke on the first tea bag and tried few other bags. They all tasted the same.I don't know if I had a bad batch, but if this is what "England" version of Earl Grey is like, I would say do not get it. I wonder if it's returnable since it's been less than 30 days since I got it.
