Anaxa Brass Tenor Saxophone Sax w/ case - Approved + Warranty

I bought this after a lot of research on line. I saw the ratings were high for the sax, and I wanted a beginner level tenor. When I got it I noted it was in great shape without any damage. The packaging was great, however the sax does not come with any instructional paperwork-like warranty information. My niece who has a master's degree in music played it and noted it sounded very good for the price. (She thought it was great). She was able to play all the notes without problem. My only recommendation is that the manufacturer send paperwork with the instrument for warranty issues, if any.Overall I am very happy!

I'm a beginner at sax.No really, total beginner - never played a note before last night, when the Anaxa sax arrived.#1 the sax arrived in 3 days#2 packed in the great black case, and then in a box and then styrofoam and another box.#3 looked beautiful - - not really my concern, as it was new#4 Pulled up some videos on YouTube about where to start - all pieces necessary to play were there.#5 Finally - the sound, I'm certain an expert would say it sounds like a beginners tenor sax, but after about an hour I found a very warm tone and I LOVE THIS THING!I was so worried about bad pads or air escaping somewhere... or just not getting a sound I liked... maybe I just got lucky, I have a lot to learn... I only learned Hot Cross Buns and Claire De Lune and played a C-scale. But every note worked... played 2 octaves (not quite sure how I did 2 octaves (more by accident, but the notes were there!!!!) I can't wait to get to play this again tonight! and tomorrow!I'm not saying you have a pro-level sax, but I am saying this is very functional and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if you are learning. I spent forever with the brand $100 more in my cart. I want to surprise my wife by playing something and saving money is kind of important... so, I wanted this to be good enough. The only Anaxa video examples I found were for altos, but that gave me enough to take a chance on the brand. Very thankful that something this well priced actually worked. I told myself if it actually works, I'll add a detailed review. Give me 2 weeks with this thing and I will add a video.Update - Feb 24 (10th day) - still happy with the tenor, sax is not easy, but I am very glad I purchased this one. I've had it now for 2 months - still love it.... did a quick video just to show the sound... I'm a total beginner and look forward to a pro doing a vid - but had I seen something after someone had played it for a few months it would have made me more comfortable with the purchase. I'm still happy about the purchase.

The sax was good and packaged well. Works pretty good and it sound good. I did have to take it to the shop to get some stuff fixed on it, but it was about 30 something dollars of repair. Now it works better and sometimes the low notes take practice to get out. Strongy recommended to beginners, but take it to the shop to make sure its playing right.

As a clarinet player, I bought this saxophone just to do something different for this year's marching band season. The cheap price did scare me a bit, but neither my band or saxophone director could tell the sound difference from an expensive tenor! I'd recommend a new mouthpiece and better reeds if you'll be using it in a concert setting, but marching this sax had great tone and all! The only small problem someone may have with this is the lyre hole, as it is a circle and most lyres have square bases. I was able to just sand the corners of my lyre down though, so it wasn't much of a problem.

For the price, I really can't complain about this instrument. It's fine for my needs for an in between beginner to intermediate musician .I would recommend for beginning to intermediate students.

I just purchased this tenor and it's really a great horn. It arrived in record time and pleased how good the package was packed. I do recommend a new mouthpiece and new reeds. But the horn is superior and has a great tone. It's really a great beginner to intermediate player instrument. Best price for the quality on amazon. I'm using for gigging.

purchase this horn found it to be very nice for the money everyone that has see it say it is worth more then I paid for itI visited a pawnshop and found a horn that was used and they was asking oven $800.00 this horn sounds good andhandle very well, I will blow this horn at my gig in japan. GREAT TENOR!!!
