I found that most back packs, even the smallest ones, are just way too big for day hikes even when I plan on taking my monocular, monopod, lunch, etc. The ones that looked small enough were child's packs. Even though I am not a large person, I was afraid that they would not fit properly. Then I found this one. I love it!!! It has lots of pockets of different sizes to keep things separated and the small stuff from getting lost in with the larger items. I can take a sandwich and snacks, monocular, monopod with attachments, 2 small lenses for my iPhone, portable phone charger and lightning cable, a change of socks, a small hand towel, hair ties, some first aid items, keys, ID, 2 bottles of water, and much more. If I left out my monocular and attachments, I could put my Keens sandals in there to change into when wading across water that is over the top of my hikers. I always keep a large plastic bag to put wet items in inside the pack so the rest won't get wet. Also, my monopod when fully collapsed has to go down the side of the main compartment but then sticks out of the top a little. I zip it over to the part that sticks out. Oh, and the zippers are sturdy. There is a metal loop on the outside that I hook things to. I sometimes, when I don't have pants pockets, tether my phone to it and slip the phone into the drink holder so if my phone happens to fall out, it won't hit the ground. I also clip my remote shutter release to it so I won't have to get into a pocket to get it out. I wish there were two of those little metal loops. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable for longer hikes. The buckles, albeit plastic, seem to be sturdy. I used this for a few months before reviewing it so I could learn the pros and cons of it. I don't really have any cons other than I could use another metal loop on the outside. The smallest front pocket has no depth (front to back) to it. So when you unzip it, be careful that things don't just fall out or don't unzip it all the way to get inside the pocket. I took lots of pictures so you could see just how roomy it is and how many pockets there are in this thing. I love it!

This backpack is perfect! The quality of this backpack is awesome not cheaply made or doesn't seem so. It's small yet has a lot of space . I love it! And for the price definitely worth it trust me !

I love it! I got the navy so that my husband could carry it as well. The fabric is nice-a nylon probably, roomy but smaller than I expected which turned out to be great. I purchased for a girls day out so I could use for purchases, hold my light jacket, carry a pair of sandals, a water bottle, and use as a purse. It was a perfect size. I didn't shop much so everything fit. With the sandals there was not much room left. I would love to get another color. Very lightweight and comfortable.

I just received my backpack and it's just like pictured on Amazon. The color is nice, size perfect, lots of compartments and its good quality.Thanks for making the straps longer and adjustable because I'm a larger person so the straps are long enough for me to wear it on my back. I haven't even used it and I'm happy so far!

I first ordered this when visiting San Francisco to help my daughter after the birth of my grandson in 2021. I quickly found out that I needed a little backpack to walk from where I was staying to her apartment (over a mile) every day. I carried everything I needed in this backpack for over a month. I liked the zippered pocket facing my back, where I kept my wallet, and found the quality of the zippers, material and construction very good quality. I also realized that I needed a backpack to fit under my (aisle) seat on the return flight to Florida because I found out on my trip out there that my expensive "name brand, under seat bag" only worked if you were in the middle seat, and then maybe even not, depending on airplane. The aisle seats have a much smaller space to fit, which most of those selling the under seat luggage will not tell you. My largest item to have in my backpack was my Kindle Fire, which fit very well, and I felt secure with it in there. I carried everything else I needed, cell phone, wallet, chargers, etc. easily. I did find the straps to be too long for me (5'4" 120 lbs) but when I got home, I had them cut and stitched, and they are good now. The side pocket holds a standard size water bottle, 2 1/2 inch diameter, not a mega bottle. The backpack is well made, zippers are super sturdy, lots of pockets that zip shut. I have been looking to see if there is a 'better' backpack, but have not found any that have suited my needs better than this, no matter the price, and I have been looking! P.S. I did use my other expensive "under seat carrier" as my carry on......at my age it's too hard for me to lift anything heavy over my head to put in the overhead storage. So not a complete loss there!

I love thus little backpack. It is way more convenient for my shorter hiking trips and is comfortable on my back. I also love the "hidden" pocket in the back.

This has generous room for everything even though listed as a small back pack. I love the material and light weight, so I bought another in purple. I can fit iPad and makeup, etc. this is worth the money. It will probably last 10 years.

This is the best backpack I ever had, and I had quite a few. Water proof, light and roomy, with multiple well positioned and secured pockets. I even managed to fit my water bottle on the side. Perfect, perfect... Totally recommend this product.

I wasn't sure if this bag was big enough for work... but once I began to place things inside, I discovered there was plenty of room! I love the secure back pocket. It is light and comfortable to wear while walking to public transport.

I use it every day. It is cute and small, but I could have lots of things inside. This is the second one, I guess I will buy another one but different colour.
