If you're feeling adventurous it's worth trying once
I'm not really experienced with these trendy health drinks. I saw it at the grocery store and it looked interesting, dark green with the seeds floating in it, surrounded by other colorful drinks, all with cool labels. It doesn't smell good, first of all, and the taste is unexpected but not necessarily bad. I didn't know what I expected when I tasted it, but it wasn't that. The two things I noticed about the taste is 1) the chia seeds that are encased in a snotty gel, and 2) that trace amount of alcohol. I just drink water all the time so I noticed it right away, both in the taste and the smell. It's not strong at all and they didn't check my ID when I bought it, but the taste/smell of alcohol (presumably the result of fermentation) was there. The chia seeds were something new. They don't taste like anything, it's definitely just a texture thing. They're a little crunchy if you stop and chew at them, but with the gel around them, they slide right down your throat and you don't notice them if you're drinking it like normal.I didn't really care for the overall taste. There's no sugar in it and so it's not sweet at all, but it's not salty or anything either. It doesn't really have much of an aftertaste, just a few squishy slimy chia seeds left in your mouth. As I said, the only thing about this drink is the seeds and that sharp taste of alcohol, maybe very very slightly carbonated.I won't be drinking it again, but if you're feeling adventurous it's worth trying once.

Amazing product, abhorrent price
This is a wonderful, wonderful product. At the local Vons, it runs $3.49 to $3.99. This product on Amazon is currently $50 + $27 shipping for a case of 12. That equals $6.42 a bottle, before any taxes. By all means, try this amazing, energy giving, healthy, low carb tea. Don't pay six and a half bucks a bottle for it when you can get it at the grocery store for half that. I was hoping it would be the other way around and I could save some money by ordering a case. Quite the opposite, unfortunately.

I love this drink
I love this drink. It gives your body a big energy boost and a overall sense of wellbeing. However, a Whole Foods and Publix sells this drink for $3.25-$3.49 which is a more affordable price than the Amazon vendors. Take with Chlorophyll Oxygen drops to gain Super Mind Clarity!!!

Excellent taste, tough to open.
This is my absolute favourite Kombucha outhere. I love the mix of Kombucha and chia seeds, and having Green Chia has become my evening tradition. The challenge with the product is that you never know if it will open without splashing drink everywhere. I once did the mistake of opening it in the car which didn't end well. But those bottles are maybe 1 out of 10, and other 9 are normal. So 5 stars from taste, 1 star for too much pressure when opening. Make sure not to shake it!

Unexpectedly good
At first glance it looks like it would be a thick crunchy slop, but upon taking a sip, it's got a slightly viscous, slippery texture with a soft crunch from the seeds themselves. It's got a tartness to it that tingles on your tongue, and it tastes very "green", if that makes any sense. It does have a nice fruity taste to round it out, though which makes this a generally tasty drink. For those who are really picky about textures and don't like "slimy" then I would not recommend drinking this. I quite enjoy it, but not everyone might.
