BEAR CREEKTORTILLA Soup Mix 8.8oz (3 Pack)

This is a great soup mix. I ordered it from Amazon when my local grocery switched to another brand that I did not like as well. I have tried quite a few tortilla soup recipes and soup mixes over time, and nothing beats this. I get compliments on this soup all of the time! I add about 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, 1 cup of chopped cabbage, and 2 cups of cooked chicken to the mix while it's cooking. This hearty soup freezes well and tastes even better the second time you heat it. Friends always ask me for the recipe when I give them this soup while they are down due to illness or surgery. I love being able to tell them it is a mix with just a few additions. Anyone can make this soup successfully, because it is so easy to do that a novice can look like a chef.

This use to be one of myfavorite Bear Creek Soups. However, the ingredients were changed to include SULFITES and more sodium (salt). I have called the company three times asking about these changes and have been ignored.I tried the new formulation and it really was different and I didn't care for it Besides, SULFITES give me migraines. They have included frozen corn in it now and I am not sure which vegetable has been eliminated to make room for the corn.

Love this soup. Tastes great. We add canned white chicken, & frozen corn to make it even more than a meal. We add taco chips & a big bowl of the soup. Soup makes 8 cups!!!

This is the best soup, all of the flavors are good but I especially like the tortilla

This is the greatest tortilla soup I have ever tasted. However, I can buy it for $3 per bag at Big Lots. Here it cost me $6 a bag. Never again will I buy it from Amazon.

I love this soup product. It is easy to make. I used to be able to find it locally, but it disappeared off the shelves. When I found it on Amazon, I have stocked up on it.

Love this soup- esp with lime, chicken, cilantro, and avocado added! Easy meal too.
