I walk 10-13 miles a day as a mail carrier. I need shoes that are comfortable from the get-go, wide enough for my very wide feet, and reasonably waterproof in wet morning grass. The nonslip works very well on slick wet porches and on the slick metal surface on the mail truck I step on all day getting stuff in and out of the truck.I put these on and brought a backup pair of shoes in case they were awful but to my surprise I walked a full day in them and they felt great. It feels like I’m walking on a thick layer of gel, but they’re still fairly light and not bulky. I don’t know if it’s the insole or actual shoe that feels so good, but either way I’m happy.The wide is also too wide in the ankle, so I use the heel lock method of tying my shoes. Look it up if your shoes are ok in the front but too big in the heel with slippage.I just ordered a backup pair. I wear an 11 but got a size 12 so I can wear thicker, fluffy insulated winter socks.

It is not as comfortable as the New Balance style I used in the past but it wasn't available with a removeable insole, as it had been, so had to go with a different style. I first ordered a NB walking shoe which didn't work at all. Then they sent me an 81/2wide, which I didn't order so it didn't fit. I now have an 81/2 regular which is pretty snug. I think I might have been better off with a 9. It's hard to get my orthotics into and the heel fits really snug, which feels ok but is hard to get the foot into. It just isn't as easy to put on as my old style. Hoping they will loosen up as I wear them more.

I bought the New Balance Women's 608 V5 Cross Trainer, Used- Like New from the Amazon Warehouse, to wear while recovering from ankle surgery. I have exclusively been wearing the right shoe while my left ankle is in a walking boot for a few weeks. I also am recovering from neuropathy, which I developed from chemotherapy I received in 2021, as a result my feet are very sensitive to the fit of many shoes. The shoe I have been wearing on my right foot is extremely comfortable; I need that as my right foot takes most of the weight as I have been regaining my balance and going to physical therapy.The great thing about these is that the orthotic is removable, so if you have a prescription orthotic you can easily swap it out. I am looking forward to enjoying the comfort of both shoes after my ankle is fully healed.Bottom line: New Balance Women's 608 V5 Cross Trainer are an excellent value, even at full price for fit, support, and comfort; with the bonus of a removable orthotic. I highly recommend them.

I needed new shoes that would support my high arches, and these did more than was expected. Super comfy, look great, and feel good when walking. I have RA and back/hip problems that these shoes really help with. I highly recommend for your body's well being!

I need a narrow shoe. Most are Medium width only. The medium shoes are comfortable, but they leave me with blisters! This one doesn't.

I love these shoes. I literally have 3 pairs of them bc I can’t go back to other sneakers. I have a black pair for my serving job and I can go an 8 hour shift, on my feet the whole time, and my feet still feel pretty good. I also have flat feet and these support them pretty well, even without inserts. I personally think they’re cute but I also like the dad shoe look so that’s just me I think.

These shoes are very comfortable. I wear between 8.5 and size 9. I should have bought the 8.5. All in All very comfortable, a little heavier than my nylon running shoes. Well made.

From the moment I put these babies on I loved them. I have worn them for two days straight now and I have flat feet and arthritis in my knees. It definitely makes a difference in my knees, doesn't take away the pain but absolutely eases it somewhat. I have been searching and searching for a shoe for walking that provided support and weren't made by Sketchers as those are garbage for my feet. These are it. I can't attest to durability as I have only worn them for 2 days but so far HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will order more if in a month they are still going strong.

My wife is a medical professional, walking miles and miles every day. Having comfortable shoes is very important to her and she rarely finds a pair that does not require getting used to. These shoes fit her needs perfectly and the price is reasonable in my opinion.

Very light , bit well made and di comfortable for a long shift on my feet

I have mobility issues and use a walker for 20 years now, the new balance is my favourite shoe for stability for walking! Although they are difficult for me to get on and off myself, these are the only ones I can safely walk in and have confidence that I will not fall. My feet are always firmly planted where I put them on the ground. They never wobble. I have tried other shoes but always come back to these! They are heavier runners, not like soft modern style, but I want safety! This is what I get from this style. Very happy with them, thank you. Fast delivery too.

Ugly but hey it's for work so they do the job and keep my feet comfy while working 8-14hrs straight on my feet (yes that means no break or sitting at any moment)
