Picture a bit deceiving
Smaller than I thought (I should have paid better attention to the picture). However, it is a lovely piece and very good quality (hence my rating).

Love It!
Love my “Tea for One” - this is the second of this style- I use it every morning for tea. When I broke accidentally the original, I was happy to find a replacement for it on Amazon. Holds enough for about two cups of tea, and is a perfection addition to my other Portmeirion Botanic garden pieces.

Lovely and functional tea for one set
This tea for one is one of the better sets I tried lately. The tea pot part sits safely on the cup, the (square) wide base of both the cup and tea pot makes this set stable, empty or full. The spout of the teapot should have been longer and higher to avoid spillage when being carried on tray. The set comes with no coaster or saucer. I wish it had coaster to save space on the tray.Tea for one would benefit from tea cosy to keep the liquid hot.

Seller/shipper was great; no damage and arrive in time
Exactly as depicted. Is made in China, unlike my other Portmeirion botanic garden collection pieces, but quality seems the same. Seller/shipper was great; no damage and arrive in time.

Made in China, not England
I don't know about you, but I started collecting the Portmeirion Botanic Garden collection because they were specifically "Made in England". I adore the quality of British tea sets. Unfortunately, this Tea-For-One is Made in China.I compared this with my vintage pieces from the same collection. The Made in England had a greater density and finer look & feel — like the difference between bone china and ceramic.Outside of my comparison, it's a lovely piece. The teapot holds 2 cups of tea. The cup, pot and lid fit well together.
