Great for salt water pools!
Bought this for testing PPM in my pool as I'm trying to avoid buying chemical chlorine. I can't truly speak for how accurate it is without a control test, but the range it's giving me in my pool is in line with my research and with what my saltwater generator requires.I love that it also tests water temp, because even after growing up at the beach, I still am never quite sure what the water temp is.It;'s also kind of fun to test your tap, filter, fridge or bottled water for "hardness" too.My only knock on it for pools is the backlit red "warning" light will come on after anything over 100, and with a saltwater pool I am in the 2500 range, so you just have to ignore said warning.See my Intex salt water chlorinator review for more details on that, but suffice it to say, I like using this better than I do those overpriced salt water test strips.

There's no way to know the accuracy of this product
Very reasonable price and shipping was typical of Amazon Prime. Arrived in 2 days. A new instruction sheet would be most helpful. Some specifics as to what would be dangerously high readings would be nice

Readings high, but should be accurate. Easy to use.
Not sure how to verify readings, but seems to work well. My tap water read 495-500 ppm and a normal ph level of 6. Tested bottled water and it read 4-8 ppm. Every one claims our water is very hard here. I will have it tested professionally in the next week to compare.

Good but more than wanted
This a really good meter I would be satisfied with just a simple test of water purity
