Q: Hi does it come with a speed controler?

Mine did not come with a speed controller.

Q: Do I need to purchase the sealed bearings as well or are they included with the "Super" kit?

You don’t, they’re all included, sealed metal bearings, what you DO need, is an ESC for brushed 540 motors

Q: Can you describe what makes this model better than the original Hot Shot?

I had (multiple) of both back when they were released. The mono shock on the original did not stand a chance to the dual shocks of the super hot shot. there were other things that were better but I can't remember.
