NISHIKI Nishiki Musenmai Premium Rice, 50 Pound

Nishiki rice is a great brand with wonderful flavor and easy to cook. I love that I can buy a gigantic size that comes in a durable bag and will last for years (though my family goes through a big bag like this in less than a year).If you are looking to store this for awhile a vacuum sealer and oxygen absorber is all you need to make 5lb. bags that will remain good for decades.

Amazing taste

This is the same as the regular rice that I normally buy at the nearest Asian Market here, which it would only cost me $36 plus tax. This rice had cost me about $97 including shipping and handling, and it's not even sticky rice like the Japanese uses to make sushi, so I would rate this rice as a 2 star because it did not meet my expectations. However, it is good for fried rice or to serve it as an everyday side dish.

Ran a sushi bar very successfully for 8 years using only this rice. This is very good for sushi as long as you know how to cook and season it. Price here is pretty high though
