Keep changing the recipe
I have always enjoyed the Thai chicken soup. Definitely the best option from this brand. It is a pity that they seem to keep changing the recipe resulting in downgrade to the flavour.

My favourite soup in a mug
Just the right amount of spice. Som instant soups can be too thin if you make them to the suggested volume, but clumpy if you add less water. This one actually needs to be thin so you actually feel as though you are getting a decent amount. It's a great pick-me-up for mid afternoon when I'm flagging and it's always my go-to when I've got a cold or feeling run down and want something easy and comforting.

Tastier than water when cheap
Once upon a time, Ainsley Harriott cup soup was grrreeaat! Tasty (and then some), thick and four sachets in a box. Not cheap but well worth paying the extra for. And I did. A lot. Then some bean counter must've figured they weren't making enough profit and bumped the price a bit. But I still bought it (though not quite as often) because it was a fab soup. The Thai chicken and lemongrass particularly noticeable with fantastic lemongrass hit.But... profit. They reduced the number of sachets to three in a box and even though it was a great soup it was far too expensive for what you got. What was really annoying was the reduction of sachet number rather than bumping the price - that kind of hidden price rise is usually a good indicator that the company considers their customers fools. And then... oh, must need more profit. Now the recipe is changed to some watery tasteless swill. I can't think of a worse cup soup. The Thai has no lemongrass kick or even taste, and the same is reflected across the range. It is a dead brand being milked for the last dregs from the market. But I still buy it. When it is very cheap, like now with 9 boxes for £6, it is bearable for a bit. Afterwards, the Bachelors cup soup, which is already very, very nice, seems an order of magnitude better in taste, quality and price.
