It fits one of the seat belts in the back seat perfectly. It's nice and snug and doesn't move around. The other one...the one my 5 year old uses...does move around a little more, but it still holds the buckle upright so he can buckle himself in. Total lifesaver - especially once winter is here! I normally get yucky snow on my knees/legs because of how high my car is off the ground (Dodge Nitro). Every time I'd lean over to buckle him in.... Won't be happening this year!

These kind of work. I suspect the car and carseat combo have a lot to do with the success of this product. I drive a 2003 dodge caravan. With my daughters highbacked booster seat this works well 70% of the time the rest of the time the seat shifts to one side and the buckle and buckle mate disappear behind the seat resulting in my little darling learning a few choice new words. With her backless booster this product works perfectly. Over all I would buy it again since it reduces my buckling frustration by approximately 80%

The day after I bought our 2016 Nissan Rogue my 8 year old daughter decided to push her seat belt buckle down into the seat. I spent an hour trying to pull it back out of the hole, to no avail, as it was getting caught under the upholstery. I ended up having to unbolt the rear seat, flip it over, unbolt the buckle strap, and reinstall it from the top. These keep the buckles upright and prevent them from being pushed down into the into the seat. These seem to make it easier for the kids to buckle up, but the real plus is I haven't had to disassemble the car to fish out the buckles since.

My grand kids pushed the seat belt receiver buckle in the back seat down almost daily, always at the most inconvenient time. And it isn't so easy to feed up though the sleeve and back out . This has stopped that completely! I have heard one of them mention they sat on it as it does stick up now but very minor compared to the hassle of digging it back out and feeding it up through. (We own a 2008 hyundai SantaFe)

My daughter has a wider booster seat, so the seat belt buckle tends to get caught behind it. I bought these, hoping that they would eliminate that problem by making the seat belt stiffer, thus allowing it to stand up. However, the seat belt buckles on my Outback are deeply set into the crease at the bottom of the back seat. I can't wedge the base of these holders far enough down to snap them closed. It's too bad really; this would have solved the problem. Maybe they'll work in other cars.

Great in concept, but it doesn't work with Jeep vehicles. I didn't see a list of vehicles it wasn't compatible with, so I had to return the product. It seems like it would be great for the little ones to be more independent, but with it not fitting, I can't say. The return process was quite simple and I had no issues, so the company was very nice to work with.

What a life-saver! As my son started Kindergarten this year, we decided to transition out of the booster-seat harness to the shoulder belt to facilitate his getting in/out of the car independently. We have a 2014 Mazda CX-9 that was purchased at the beginning of the summer and floppy seat belt buckles never even crossed my mind as something to consider when car shopping. I had read a few reviews online that suggested using pool noodles to help prop up the buckle, but I couldn't get it to work for us (still too floppy). This definitely helps, and while it's not quite a stiff as I would have liked, that's probably more a function of my particular seat belt buckle as opposed to the functionality of the product. What it comes down to is that my 5 year old is (usually) able to buckle/unbuckle himself - he's still learning and sometimes has issues, but I can't imagine him being able to do it without this installed.

GREAT product, but didn't fit well in either of our vehicles. The MyBuckleMate was really hard to install in both of our vehicles...we have a '03 Chevy Tahoe and a '13 Subaru Legacy Sedan. The buckles are still connected in the Tahoe, but they don't seem to make it any easier for our daughter to plug the seat belt in. They came unhooked in our Subaru because the seat belt buckle is too thick for the MyBuckleMate to stay clipped...but when it managed to stay clipped, it did make it easier for her to buckle...ugh.

Makes it SO much easier to buckle my son in to his booster. It was a challenge pulling my buckle up enough to get it in, but I consider that a flaw of my vehicle (Nissan pathfinder) rather than the product. Highly recommend.

Good product in right situation. I wanted to use it for my kid’s booster seat but my kids find it more difficult since the opening falls directly under the Diogo booster seat wing/arm. I might modify it a bit so that it flares out to the side a bit away from the booster seat. Perhaps a small foam roll on one side of the seat belt buckle base.

We use this to help with our kid's final stage of the convertible 3 in 1 car seat. Our buckles are difficult to get to and needed to lean over our kid each time or enter from the other side of the car just to attach the seat belt to the buckle.It was very tight on our 2017 Nissan Sentra and fairly loose on our 2011 Toyota RAV4 but it works, which is the bottom line. So now it's easier and faster to strap our kid into the car seat each time.
