Sandpaper detaches from felt backing
When pulling these off the sanding pad the sandpaper separates from the felt backing... leaving the felt backing on the pad. Additionally, I think because the sandpaper detaches from the felt backing the sanding performance diminishes - so, you are forced to put a new piece of sanding paper on even before the sandpaper is worn enough to need to be replaced. My guess is they saved a few cents on either using less glue or inferior glue to attach the felt to the sandpaper.

Very good quality
Usually I have seem lots of low quality sand paper at the market - these aren't the case as they have the quality you would expect from a respectable company. I used them just for one project but it worked very well. Recommended.

Doesn't last long
This works great on the FEIN but it sure doesn't last long at all. I went through a lot of sandpaper in a short amount of time so it was a good thing it had 50 sheets in it. I was refinishing a front door which has a lot of corners, grooves and fancy woodwork. It did get into most of the edges but then it would become coated very quickly and stop being effective. Oh well, I did manage to get the finish off the door eventually and the tool really helped so I guess I can't really complain about having to use so much sandpaper disks. It does the job.

Quality product
These outlast the competition, and are well made. Unlike cheaper alternatives the backing doesn't break down before the sandpaper does

Good quality
In my experience, if you use the Fein MultiMaster, stick with their paper for use on their sanding pads.

The velcro grip with the Fein sander is like a death grip
The velcro grip with the Fein sander is like a death grip. No detaching when you need it the least. My only qualm is that in sanding painted surfaces, the paper tends to load up quickly.

Fein MultiMaster Detail Sanding
The Fein Multimaster is a great tool, performing well, just as advertized. Although this tool saves tons of time, effort and frustration associated with detail sanding jobs, the velcro attachment system is by far the weakest link. The velcro pads are easily damaged by overheating. Overheating occurs far too easily when any of the following conditions occur: extensive point sanding (using just the tip of the tool), continuing to use a velcro paper to beyond about 40%wear. To avoid permanent damage to the pad, you MUST do the following: use appropriate sanding technique, change the paper before about 40%wear and spread the sanding load across as much of the paper surface as possible (avoiding extensive point sanding). In the end, you are trading off using lots of sandpaper for time, effort and frustrations.

The paper is every bit as good as the multimaster
I have worked in the trades my whole life and have used every kind of paper out there. This stuff is by no means cheap but it lasts three times longer than some knock-off brands I have purchased. It sticks on the sanding head and doesn't budge under a heavy load, which to me, is key when using any type of hook and loop system. There is a difference between all of the products Fein puts their name on and the competitions look a likes.

Sand as a pound!!
Great pads for removing paint and varnish finishes. Grip well on official Fein delta plate; Last well - I use them with a Bosch multi-tool and keep the speed to around 2.5-3 on the dial, at around 4 the pads can overheat and de-bond from the velcro backing and damage the delta plate. Keep the speed down and I get great results. Have previously obtained 120 grade and 220. Use the 120 grit for general sanding and get on very well with them; 220 grade are fairly fine and on reflection have limited use for me.

Effective and non clogging.
I use these exclusively for sanding gloss paint off skirting boards. They are far better than anything else I have tried- they last ages and do not clog up. Quite rough so you might need to smooth sand afterwards depending on what you use them for - you won’t need to for paint prepping.

Better value than they first appear.
These are expensive on the face of it but having tried a number of alternatives the Velcro style fastening is head and shoulders above the competition in terms of the sheet remaining attached. The abrasive appears to be more durable as well.

Long lasting
Had a large area of wooden planks to sand down so ordered a box of papers. Only needed 2. Long lasting and the Multitool made the job comparatively easy.
