Bill and Ben first appeared in the television series in 1986. Since then they have become favorites among fans and Bachmann has done an incredible job with recreating Bill exactly how he looks in the television series. He along with Ben are my two favorite models Bachmann has produced. I’m really impressed with how the twins look and they run great. Bill’s eyes move side to side as he runs along the track. They are looking straight and the eyes don’t jitterbug as they move. Anyways great model I highly recommend Bill to all train collectors and model railroad enthusiasts.

I purchased the Bachmann Bill locomotive in order to convert it to a narrow gauge locomotive in 7mm to the foot scale.I purchased a Smallbrook kit in order to do this. I chose the Bachmann loco for its quality and the fact that it has proper connecting rods, crossheads and slidebars unlike some other manufacturers' offerings. The loco arrived promptly, well packed and working.

These Bachmann Trains are always great and always work. Many other toys purchased on line are hit or miss, but Bachmann never fail to be great. Thanks Bachmann and Thanks Amazon.

This broke only after a week. A small component missing from the wheels and now will not run.
