Tubigrip Size E - Tubular Bandage - (Large Ankles, Medium Knees, Small Thighs)

Although I spend my waking hours in a wheelchair... These Tubigrip bandages help control the swelling of my legs and feet.

I received this product, cut them to fit my legs, and they work great.

I was initially prescribed these support stockings thru the VA and have been using them for over 20 years. I have poor circulation in my legs due to a vein stripping operation in2001. I am now living abroad and rely on Amazon to continue to purchase these stockings. Everyone I know use them as well if they have circulation problems. I use them under my custom fit support stockings. They are great to absorb sweat when I excercise. I also wear them to bed at night and I no longer have those Charlie Horse spasms I used to have in the middle of the night. Be sure to check your size before ordering, you want them to fit a little snug around your leg. I wear them from my toes to below my knee on both legs and Lea’s little extra at the bottom to fold over if you're wearing other stockings or socks over them. I like that you can cut them to size since I wear a size 17 shoe.

We just now used this product on my husbands swollen leg for the first time. It was recommended by our Podiatrist. It’s a little difficult to use because we had to put it on his entire lower leg, but he says it feels so good. Hopefully we will become more adept applying it!

I usually have one or two bandages on my lower legs. Compression socks typically rip those bandages off while trying to pull them up, and zipper socks cause their own problems. This allows me to have some compression without disturbing bandages.

I'm a fan of Tubigrip, but I must confess that one of my frustrations with certain distributors of it is that there's some fluctuation between use of cotton and use of materials containing latex and it's not always clearly identified. As someone with a latex allergy, this becomes particularly frustrating when it's not clearly marked on the product description page. In this case, it's noted in small print on the back of the box. Quite honestly, this needs to be clearly acknowledged as most of us who have a latex allergy have strong response to it.This seems to vary between sizes. With this particular size (size E), it is noted on the back of the box - fortunately in a bold "caution."I continue to be overall fairly grateful for Tubigrip. It helps with holding on wound bandages and is great for compression. The sizing is nearly always accurate and I'm amazed how durable these are for the most part. They are easy to cut into the appropriate size. They've definitely made a positive difference for my wound care needs on a lower limb that continues to have a small wound.However, it's super important note that this product does contain natural rubber latex. For those with latex allergies, there are versions and sizes that will clearly be labeled "latex free."

Bandage is good but packaging looks like it was kicked around in the warehouse.
