I got this weighted blanket as my friend has one and we both suffer with fibromyalgia. I tried hers and loved it! So I bought this one as it was a good price, and has a washable cover. It's totally worth it.Pros:- Great weight for the length and width ratio - I weigh 55-56kg and did some research and found that 6.8kg was more than enough weight for me. My body is very tolerant of weight though. I'm also 5'3" and it covers the length of my body neck to toe well- As soon as I put it on, I instantly felt relief from my chronic pain. I could easily cope with more weight to be honest, but it is tough to pick up so it is certainly heavy enough! I think my body just loves pressure. I sometimes nap under it and actually feel really relaxed, which is very rare for me- I also suffer from anxiety, and this helps bring me down (the weight makes you feel safe and secure - there's lots of science around why this might be)- Really soft, textured washable zip cover, dark blue on one side and light grey on the other. It's really soft and it's so nice you can wash it as my friend's one has no cover- There are 8 ties in the inside of the cover to tie to little loops on the edges of the weighted blanket and keep it in place - I only found this out recently! Otherwise the weighted blanket ends up scrunched up on the inside. Genius idea- It comes with a clear bag to store it, although I tend to just have it folded on the back of my sofaCons:- It would have been that the weighted blanket falls out of line with the cover, but since discovering the ties, I have absolutely no cons to mention!I've read some articles saying that you shouldn't be under these blankets for long, and read others saying you can sleep in them all night. To be honest, I've been under it for hours and all I feel are positive effects, so I would personally say the more time spent under it, the better! I absolutely love it and it really helps me when I need it. Sometimes I combine it with my slanket and it's just pure bliss.So, if you're looking for a weighted blanket with this sort of weight range, this is a good value choice, is high quality and is 100% worth every penny. It helps with chronic issues and makes me feel less stressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody. To be honest, I'd consider getting a weightier one in the future as I love the effect it has so much. Can't believe I didn't get one sooner!

I've been using my blanket for over a year now and it's made so much difference to the quality of sleep. I was hesitant to order one, mainly because of the price, but this one was a lot cheaper than the 'official' brand and had better reviews than the cheaper ones. I am really glad I ordered this, and have even had other people purchase it based on my recommendation.The weight is evenly distributed within the blanket so it lays comfortably across your whole body - the beads are contained in small stitched squares so the whole blanket is always covered in the correct weight distribution. It comes with two cases, one a lighter cotton one and one a thicker fleecy one. Both are nice, but I mainly keep the cotton one on, as I wear the blanket on top of my normal bedding. What I like about this particular blanket is that both the covers and the blanket itself is washable - some blankets I browsed only had washable covers and the blanket itself wasn't.In terms of health benefits, there's something so relaxing about having this blanket on. It stops me fidgeting and moving too much in bed, so I get to sleep quicker, and it's also so comforting to simply lie under it. My partner suffers with anxiety, and often when he feels particularly stressed or anxious, he'll borrow the blanket to simply sit under and it always helps. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia some years ago, and while I don't suffer with symptoms often these days, I do have trouble getting deep restorative sleep, and this blanket has definitely helped improve the quality of my sleep. It's certainly noticeable on days when I don't use the blanket.The size is suitable for one person - it recommends if you have multiple people in your household to get a blanket for each person, mainly due to the weight distribution. The blanket might stretch across two people, but I don't think you'd get any of the health/sleep benefits - we do enjoy sitting with the blanket in front of the tv on a cold night however!If you're on the fence about getting a gravity blanket, I'd definitely recommend this one. It's not as expensive as other brands, but you still get a great quality product that will give you a better night's sleep.

It's a good product but it's notingh specialPros:Two faced cover is great. Both sides are soft and very nice feel.Appears good quality with no leakes and no smells.Weight is good for the size.Cons:Can really feel any difference. No major improvement or degradation for me.It's heavy making it hard to maneuver.The size, it's tiny, more like a single than a small queen. Definitely a single person cover. Measured at aprox 49 by 73 inches myself but haven't got the best measurements.Price is not small.Overall it's a good product but not sure if I can recommend it for anyone with sleeping problems.

I purchased this blanket as a gift to my wife. She really loves it. First, it’s ready to use, I didn't need to buy a separate cover as the one included is nice and soft. Second, the weight is perfect for her. She can suffer from periods of depression and anxiety, most of the time she wakes up many times throughout the night. After using this soporis weighted blanket for almost 2 weeks, her sleeping problems have improved a lot. She feels more safe, and falls asleep easier. She said the blanket is way beyond her expectations and she's a picky person...If she said yes to this blanket, I think you should have a try too!

Bought for my 14 yr old son as he loved mine & wanted his own blanket. We looked & found this 1, loved that it included a removable cover. The cover is lovely & soft & fits the blanket perfectly. This is a great value for money blanket & my son loves it. 1 negative I shall mention is that we personally feel it's not as heavy as my blanket feels although both are meant to weigh 15 pounds. Overall I recommend as its a fab price & size.
