Super Cool Little 2 Door Fridge
The media could not be loaded. Delivery was earlier than I thought. The box was intact and it was easy to just pull in, cut the flat threaded tape, pull the styrofoam and cardboard protections off and insert back into the box. The film protecting the fridge was easy to remove as well. This little fridge arrived without a ding or scratches and it was perfectly shiny and clean inside and out. The instruction manual and hardware to change to door to open in the opposite direction is in a plastic bag inside of the crisper tray. It did not include the scraper for any ice condensation but you could always email them to ask for any missing pieces if you do it on time.I let it stand for over 24 hours without plugging it in until I returned home. The light inside turned on when I opened the fridge, the temperature setting was already on 4 so I left again to run some last minute back to school shopping.Upon arrival, the fridge was already cold and as you can see, we drink lots of fluids of various sizes which I placed into the fridge.*There is a very weak buzzing sound that can be heard but so does my regular fridge and the crisper tray it a weak plastic; just don’t allow your children to pull it open.Everything I put inside the fridge is nice and cold now.I included a pic of my grandson standing by the fridge to give you an idea of it’s height. My grandson is 4 feet 6 inches tall.I am keeping the box, just in case anything goes wrong or it stops working. So far, I optimistically recommend this little fridge. The price is right and so is the size for a small area.Updating 9/29/23 (almost 2 months of having it)This little fridge is just perfect. The buzzing sound has not stopped but the buzzing is only inside and it can not be heard when the door is closed. This cute little guy is still keeping his cool.He gets no Boo’s only more stars!

So far, the best lil refrigerator.
This one gets cold fast and makes ice quicker than the one i had before. The double door is a great and nice thing to have too. This freezer holds more than my other one i had. And talk about running quiet,... I am very pleased on how quiet it is, and so far it doesn't make all those other bad sounds like some of the othersdo. I guess i've owned this one a month or more now. I like the looks of mine and how the door handle are.

(Almost) Two Year Review (To Be Updated Over Time)
About Two Years Later (7/24/23):It's still going with no issues. The freezer compartment still keeps food frozen, the refrigerator still keeps things cold, and the seals, door bracket, and cheap plastic "crisper" drawer are still flawless. Ice buildup inside has been consistent but low...you'll notice ~some~ almost immediately after plugging in, but even without regular cleaning/scraping it won't get to the point where it affects food storage.I did notice when my AC broke a little while back that, I'd assume like other "mini" fridges, this unit cools X number of degrees colder than the ambient room temperature. So probably not a good option for use in an uncooled garage or shed or something, but absolutely ideal for a dorm room, home office, etc. At this point the *only* things preventing me from bumping this refrigerator up to a full 5 stars are the aforementioned "crisper" drawer and the issues with door storage mentioned below. Call it a very solid 4.5 stars from me.One Week Of Use (8/24/21):We'll start with the good. As mentioned below, the unit arrived undamaged in original packaging, complete with scratch-resistant film applied to the exterior. I allowed it to sit upright for 24 hours (longer than recommended) before plugging it in; after powering it up it took several hours for the four strategically placed water bottles to cool down, but cool down they did and with little variation depending upon where in the refrigerator they were placed (one per shelf, including one in the "crisper drawer"). The (plastic of course) bottle placed in the freezer froze solid within 8 hours--I can't be sure exactly how quickly as I was away at work for most of that time. The freezer compartment does its job well and is more spacious than I'd thought; no issues at all keeping a pint of ice cream at proper temperature, and easily enough space for a half dozen frozen meals (or more, depending on packaging size). The can rack included on the door holds 7 12-oz cans perfectly, and again I've noticed no variance in temperature between cans placed in that rack vs. those placed on the shelves. While the unit does produce some noise with the compressor running, it's nowhere near a deal-breaker and probably wouldn't even be noticed by most folks. Both doors close with a satisfying thunk, even with said can rack full. Now, the less than good. The shelf provided on the door for 2-liter bottle storage is precariously shallow; if you are storing an actual 2-liter bottle, this should be fine thanks to a swiveling bracket attached to the door frame, but if you're trying to store other tall objects which aren't as girthy they are not going to be stable. Nor is there space for any tall objects elsewhere in the fridge, at least not unless you store them on their side and/or remove the top shelf. The "crisper drawer" is nothing more than a small, very thin plastic tub placed on the lower level of the fridge compartment. No rails for stability, and not a whole lot of storage space either thanks to the machinery to the rear of the compartment and needing to leave room for the bottle shelf on the door. Quite a bit of condensation does form on the rear wall of the refrigerator, and does also tend to freeze pretty quickly. The manufacturer provides a small plastic scraper for removing it, and while I haven't made us of it yet it appears up to the task. Finally, the placing of the temperature dial could be better--while it is easily accessible placed on an overhang to the right side of the fridge compartment and the numbers are printed on the side of the dial (making them visible when looking in through the door), said numbers are quite small and, given that most people will place this unit on the floor, can be very difficult to read without extensive bodily contortions.Overall I'm pleased with the product thus far, quite so with the freezer portion (and, let's be honest, that separate freezer compartment is the main selling point for this unit vs. others in the price range). One week is hardly long enough for a thorough review, but the early returns are looking good. Four stars because, while there are shortcomings, they are all forgivable given the price point.Initial Impressions (8/17/21):Let's just start by letting the cat out of the bag: if you're considering buying this mini-fridge over another similar one simply because of the "RCA" brand, don't. It's actually a Chinese-made product sold by a Canadian company (Curtis International) and branded as RCA through a licensing agreement (and to be fair, that is spelled out above in the product description portion which everyone skips over, between the pictures and the reviews). This means that you're in for such doozies as "Owing To Update Of Product Incessantly, Product What You Buy May Be Not Completely Comported With The Instructions", and "When fixing refrigerator, the foaming package should be cancelled. (Including the foaming bottom)". Any parent likely has stories already about "foaming bottoms."Aside from the mangled English in the user manual I have few complaints thus far. My delivery date was estimated at 8/17/21, and it arrived on 8/17/21 (at 5:30 AM???!!!). No scratches or dents to be seen, and while the packaging hardly seemed bullet-proof it appeared plenty good enough to protect the fridge through normal handling. Oh, and speaking of the packaging--the item shipped with a thin protective film covering nearly the entire exterior surface, which was nice. Would be a whole lot nicer if there was any indication anywhere (other than the little bubbles under said film) that it was on there, or if a helpful pull tab were included anywhere to get it going...it literally took me twice as long to remove the film as it did to lug the thing up a spiraled staircase to the home office it now sits in (and I most definitely ain't a body-builder).The manual recommends that "to ensure operation normally of refrigerator, by the long-distance moving, it must wait for 1/2-1 hour or so, then turn on it." Reading other reviews before I bought it suggested letting this (or any other refrigerating/air conditioning appliance) sit in a level, upright position for 24 hours before first use, so I'm going with that. I'll update this review as things progress.

Works great
Bought for my daughter's dorm room and seems to be functioning great so far. Size is perfect and it cooled super fast as soon as it was plugged in. Just what we were looking for!

Little Champ! I love it!
Little champ! Just 5 days after buying this (for upstairs next to my bed, for ice packs), my main fridge died, actually while grocery shopping a huge stock-up trip. I was very happy to find out that this separate freezer compartment is big enough to hold 4 full sized ice creams, and 5 roasts! It saved the day! Really nice to have a back up fridge/freezer for emergencies. I think right there, the cost paid for itself with saved groceries! As other reviews noted, the sound is quiet. It does not wake me up during the night, and I am a light sleeper. It is right next to my bed. Overall well designed. Also as noted by many other reviews, it arrived with a dent, due to flimsy and cheap packaging from the manufacturer. I lucked out, as the dent is on the bottom in the back, and cosmetic only. Seems like it should have 2-3" styrofoam packaging, instead of just the 1", barely held together with loose strapping. Also note that for the freezer to work, the temp gauge must be set on at least 4. Anything less, the freezer wont freeze. I would buy this again! Why did I wait so long to begin with?!!

Goin' strong at 5 years!
Bought this fridge 5 years ago and it is still runnin' strong! I love this thing and have refused to give it up while moving! It's been in my room, in a guest room, in an office, and now in a different office! Rare to find products that last like this.
