Ammonia Inhalant 33 cc 10 per box

As a nurse I like to keep one of these in a little ziplock bag in my purse for the just in case I've only needed to use once. But recently noticed that bodybuilders or people needing sudden extra I guess energy or adrenaline if you will used these two crack open and inhale as well. So they are not just for incase somebody passes out in a restaurant. Nice to have around in your safety kit at home your purse or in the car just make sure that you put each one in their own zip lock bag just in case you were too smush it and it cracks open to make your purse smell just lovely not really it's a very strong odor if you accidentally break in your purse and walk around with it.

UPDATE: 1/17/14True to its reviews, this product is amazing...At first I bought it because I thought it would just be cool to have, as seen in many movies and TV shows, but never really had any use for it...That is until last week as I was putting on my shoes, I looked outside my window and saw two teenagers arguing. I live two blocks from the local high school so this is a common occurrence, until one of them punched the other, knocking him out and running away... Shocked, I waited all of four seconds to realize the kid wasn't moving. Basic instinct kicked in, and I grabbed the box out of my closet and ran downstairs... Never having used this thing before, I figured this was a better time than ever to give it a shot. I cracked one of the ammonia packets and placed it against his nose. About three seconds later he woke up in this super rush, completely disoriented, confused and in a lot of pain... Long story short, I wouldn't have known what to do at that moment had it not been for this. These things really work like magic and HIGHLY recommended...

Given I keep a pretty wide assortment of odds and ends in my  Condor Rip-Away EMT Pouch , this little dandy fits in with all the other assorted triptych and supply in the confines of my IFAK. First off, the entire box of ten ampoules of inhalant is small, easily able to fit into the IFAK without taking up too much space. Why anyone would need ten of these, I do not know, but it is doable. Second, I have not tried these specific units, but I can tell you the ammonia inhalants are powerful. Use with caution, and do not use unless necessary; some people use them as an anti-sleep cure, which is a bit of a gross misuse of medical supplies. Caffeine is less hazardous and more readily available.Definitely something I do not want to use, but far better to have and never need, than to need and not have.

These ammonia inhalants have a specific medical usage and should be treated with proper caution as they are very potent. We added these to our range "Blow Out Kit" and have taken the required training to use these properly.The package we received is very generic and is not the same as pictured in the product listing, so I broke one open and confirmed that it was the real item (also subtracted one star for making me waste one of these).These are good to have if you know when you need them (hopefully never).Recommended!CFH

The item arrived OK in a bubble wrap envelope, but the box was somewhat crushed during shipping. Not the seller's fault, but maybe a thicker padded envelope would be better to ship these next time.The only reason I took one star off is that I did not receive the product in the photograph. The box I received was from a company called Dynarex, and on the box it says .33cc each - Alcohol 35% - Ammonia 15% - reorder 1401.They are ammonia capsules, and they did arrive intact, but I would have preferred a current photo.

This stuff is strong and it will wake the dead, it does fade after 4-5 minutes but for powerlifting, long drives, or to sober up your drunk roommate who is passed out with his head in the toilet, 10/10 recommend.

I was missing my friend Mark whom had passed away an hour before. He slipped on the wet tile in the kitchen. As it was raining so hard here in Tampa, Florida the EMT's were taking too long to arrive. I brought out this smelling salt and placed it under his nose. HE WAS REANIMATED!!! IT BROUGHT HIM BACK FROM THE DEAD!!! Now, he maintains the story of him passing out at my party and in fact being nowhere near the kitchen whilst I woke him up with this as a punishment. That story doesn't explain the moaning and staggering towards me and trying to kill me though...of course the alcohol and rude awakening could. Whatever. Point is this stuff works! ZOMBIES........MIAMI...... BALTIMORE.......just saying......
