Easy Crown Molding ECM212 2.5-Inch Peel and Stick Crown Molding

I purchased this molding. It is a cheaper way out of crown molding especially since there's no cutting angles with a saw. I have popcorn ceilings therefore the molding would not stick. I simply used a staple gun and stapled them to the ceiling then caulked around the bottom. i didnt paint them. U can't tell they are not wood. Downside is u have to do all the corners first or u will mess up the project . I messed up on a corner. They are flimsy but if ur always lookin for a cheaper way these will do fine. They also can be painted.

I used this product in my kitchen and it turned out really great. BUT, there was a lot of prep work to make it look that way. First, I have popcorn ceilings so I had to peel off the popcorn ceiling where the top of the molding would go so it would lie flat. Second, I used liquid nail in order for the molding to stay put. Third, I had to caulk the top and bottom of the crown molding. Fourth, I added a coat of Kilz primer and two coats of paint. It looks beautiful! No one can tell that this is just plastic crown molding :)

I bought this to finish off a small bathroom I recently remodeled, needing something cheap and easy enough to install myself. The reviews on it were pretty mixed but I figured I'd give it a try, hoping it would work out. This is quite possibly the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon.I opened up the box and right off the bat the plastic molding was bent in two different places, on every single panel, from where the box must have gotten crushed during shipment. The bottom pieces weren't quite so badly damaged so I decided to use them anyway since I knew I wouldn't need all 12 pieces for my small room and could discard the worst looking ones.Trying to put this stuff up was a complete nightmare. The inner corners do not match up at all. On some of them I was left with such huge gaps that I could not even use caulk to fill it in. The tape doesn't stick well at all (I figured it wouldn't from reading other reviews and was prepared to caulk all around everything, but the tape couldn't even temporarily hold long enough for me to caulk). Everywhere you start a new panel there is a very clearly visible line where the next panel is laid down. From the distance you can't tell that it is just cheap plastic, but the lines everywhere there is a seam just looks terrible.I regret buying this stuff and cannot recommend it to anyone else. I would have been better off just painting my ugly old molding or having none at all.

This product looks like the real thing. I am very impressed.... No one knows its not real wood.....:-)

Upon opening the box, we were surprised. The material was very thin. We returned the product with the fantastic assistance of Amazon customer service.

DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT!! This molding is terrible. It is plastic, thin and VERY cheap looking. I honestly thought for the price it would be a little better quality! I mean, I know it's not top of the line, but paper thin plastic? It's even thinner than the plastic that notebook dividers are made of! The molding is very crooked and bent. Don't waste your money on this cheap and cheap looking crown molding!
