This hat s very nice and cool to wear. Protects from Sun and is breathable and true to the fit. I’m a School Crossing Guard for Roanoke City Schools in VA

Worked as expected, but disappointed it really didn't do much for cooling. It's as cold as water you put on it. It basically warms up to your head temperature and the cool* part only lasted about an hour at most. The reflection on this is outstanding and very bright neon. It is waterproof and very light. I tried it on with band dry and didnt fit my head, once I wet the band it actually was a bit loose. Either way, it's a fair product. The boonies hat is oval shaped and looks good unless the fully round ones you see.

Needs to come with instructions to wet/soak blue brim in water prior to wearing. upon first trying it on the blue strip is hard, rough and hat does not fit. Once it was wet and saturated it did feel better upon wearing and does feel cool when working out in the heat or sitting in the heat of the south. sizing by measurements is not easy when you expect a small or medium up to xtra large not everyone knows how to measure their head for hat sizing. My brother in law was very unhappy that the hat we sent him was not xtra large as we thought he is six and a half feet tall not a little fella by any means and would love to have a bigger size available.

I gave it to a worker and he really like it . He said it feel like an air conditioner compared to his base ball cap ….. it provide a lot of shade on his head.

I am out in the sun a lot and while this hat has the sun protection, the cooling band doesn't stay cool for very long. When the band is wet the hat is too large so it's definitely not a one size fits all. I've used it only once so far because of this.

This hat is great! Don't be put off by the color--it is lightweight, really comfy and the cooling band keeps you cool in the hottest environments. The hat and brim are really light and flexible but the brim doesn't droop at all. I wear this while walking and it is comfortable and functional. Aside from the crazy color, it is a really good hat.

I love this hat! I wear it kayak fishing. It is really cool and comfortable and lightweight. And it stays out of your way. You forget you even have it on. It stayed wet all day in 85 degrees. I only had to dunk it in the lake once in the morning. The lightweight cotton long-sleeved shirt I dunked in the lake only stayed wet for an hour or so. I would like another hat like this in a more dirt-friendly color to wear for farm work. But, all I see are high-vis lime green and orange. My pretty green hat would never be the same after a couple hours of work.
