Lukas CRYL Studio Artist Acrylic Paint, Indian Yellow, 500 ml Bottle - High Pigment Acrylic Paints for Canvas Painting, Large Scale Works - Medium-Viscosity, Water-Mixable, Fast Drying

After trying this paint I immediately wanted to order more of a color selictin.The paint is really nice & smooth. I have used it for regular acrylic painting as well as for acrylic pouring. . It works beautifully for both.this paint is so thick & creamy that the amount of paint in the re-useable squeeze bottle is well worth the reasonable price. The amount of paint needed for an average size paint pouring project(8×10 ~ 16x20) is relatively small due to the thick consistency of this paint. I have been using Amsterdam, Liquitex Basics, Arteta & a couple more of the popular brands but since trying the Lukas Cryl Studio paints I will invest in more of these fot a couple of reasons.1)thick creamy consistancy. Thinning will stretch the already generous amount of paint in the bottle & doesn't affect coverage 2)Coverage & spreading ease is excellentI have no complaints concerning this paint thus far..

I bought the mint color to use for wedding decorations. It’s more of a sage green which is what I was looking for. The paint container is bigger than I was expecting which is great!

This is the first time buying Lukas acrylic paint, I usually use Amsterdam or Liquitex so I know how acrylic paint is supposed to dry. The texture when wet was similar to the above so I was expecting the same outcome. This paint dried with little grains in it, it actually looks like sand!! Soooo I sanded down my canvas after the first coat and tried again, but the same thing happened. What is going on? Please refund my money or send another bottle, maybe this was a bad batch?? I’ve never had this happen. Of course I needed this for a commission lol never fails.

It’s a cool color that I use in my artwork. The quality of Lukas Cryl paints is very good for the money.

Slightly thicker in consistency than most other tube acrylic paints, it dries out quickly, but adding a few drips of water is no big deal. It is very creamy and opaque, compared to most whites which are translucent. With 2 layers on medium blue paper, it is perfectly white. It's superior opacity helps with mixing colors also, easier to get the shade I want using less white.

I paint desert scenes, this color is essential.

I've been using Lukas Caryl Studio acrylics for last two years, and like their viscosity, for pours, and brush works. Thanks for a speedy delivery.
