Speechless !
It is rare to find a Teacher who:1. has done the work themselves and become Enlightened2. can explain complex topics so simply and elegantly, using metaphors and examples that we can relate to in our day-to-day lives. When I read SantataGamana's explanations of Kriya Yoga in earlier books in this series, I thought to myself, "This is how Lahiri Mahasaya (the founder of Kriya Yoga) probably wished he would have explained these concepts."This 5th book in the Real Yoga series is profound. Almost every page in every chapter is filled with gems of information. And this information is not just about concepts and abstractions, but rather it will help YOU progress on your spiritual path. I've rarely found a Teacher evolved to this level of Enlightenment, who is then able to come back down, embody the teachings, and explain them simply and clearly. The topics of particular interest to me were, "The Myth of Psychological Perfection," "Is Enlightenment Having No Thoughts?" "Infusing the Divine Into the Waking State," (and other pointers on how enlightenment energy is physicalized into our minds, bodies, and lives), and "Diving Beneath the Conscious Mind," (which should be of great interest to any metaphysician or transpersonal psychologist). Many Teachers have experienced some degree of "mental" Enlightenment. Far fewer have grounded and integrated this energy back into their physical bodies and into their lives (which is what Turiya is). How do highly Enlightened beings live, what do they think and feel, what do they do on a day-to-day basis? The author explains all of this in some detail, and it is absolutely fascinating. It is as if his book gives us seekers a map of where we've been and where we are going !!Lastly, I have heard it rumored that when one reads certain direct path truths, these can literally catapult your consciousness to very high levels of refinement and transformation. This book will do that for you if it is your time and if you allow it.

Okay for beginners
This book, "Turiya, The God State" is not unimportant as it will undoubtedly spark within those who read it a greater thirst for truth. However, while reading this book, I had several misgivings concerning the purity of the delivery of the content therein. The author makes a point of being anti-guru. This assertion seems to be the product of fear. In fact, all is Guru, and there is nothing to fear. The author says correctly that spiritual seeking is not an intellectual exercise. However, the tone of his writing is frequently pseudo-intellectual (i.e. ego-driven) while being poorly executed; he attempts to use lofty language but frequently illustrates poor grammar and awkward sentence structure. Therefore, his claims don't cohere with what he seems to be attempting to convey. There is a page which introduces Part One of the book. It is entitled "The Red Pill". The author asks "Are you ready to take the red pill?" There was no further qualification about this red pill. I mentioned it to my husband, and he told me that it is a reference from the movie, "The Matrix". From what I've subsequently read online, the red pill has become a meme which typically indicates revelation of the sinister truth of some given (often political) matter. In my opinion, this is no way to introduce blissful Turiya. The author repeatedly emphasizes that the study or knowledge of Turiya has been lost or corrupted. In truth, it absolutely has not. There are myriad inspired interpretations and translations of Hindu scriptures which aim to illumine Turiya for the benefit of the spiritual aspirant. Again, it must be emphasized that Turiya is not understood by the intellect; conversely, the the intellect is annihilated in the process of revealing Turiya. Throughout this book, the author claims he is explaining concepts that have never been (adequately) explained before. These assertions are the most transparent evidence of the egocentric tone of his writing. In ancient times, the wise King Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun. Indeed, this author does not deliver proprietary knowledge as he claims. Ultimately, truth is revealed from within. This author does not deliver his understanding of things from an attitude of humility, grace and giving; this renders the content relatively repellent. In his introduction, the author says, "What makes a good spiritual book is its content; what makes a great spiritual book is the fact that it leads you to yourself, to your true Self." He also claims this is an advanced text. According to his metric for spiritual books, I would rate this as a pretty good spiritual book for beginners. If you aspire to dive deeper, mercifully there exist very many truly enlightened resources. In Hindu scriptures Turiya is called "The Fourth" because it transcends the three states of waking, dreaming, and dreamless sleep. The Mandukya Upanishad tells us "The Fourth, say the wise, is not subjective experience, nor objective experience, nor experience intermediate between these two, nor is it a negative condition which is neither consciousness nor unconsciousness. It is not the knowledge of the senses, nor is it relative knowledge, nor yet inferential knowledge. Beyond the senses, beyond the understanding, beyond all expression, is The Fourth. It is pure unitary consciousness, wherein awareness of the world and of multiplicity is completely obliterated. It is ineffable peace. It is the supreme good. It is One without a second. It is the Self."

Deep Waters
I just finished this 5th and last book of the series, and it feels as if the author took my hand and led me to progressively deeper waters during the succession of books. During this last book, my intellect gave up its attempts to understand all the material presented and surrendered to the Unfathomable. In many ways, the author is attempting to convey through words what can only be understood through experience. No matter how skillful with words, how does one convey the taste of a grape to someone who has never tasted a grape? This book series is unlike any other I have encountered. It is remarkably excellent.

Thus Spoke The Serpent to Eve !!!
I have no idea if the author is genuinely an advanced Master sharing his insights; or a highly intelligent very knowledgeable seeker who has walked the walk and gone further than most, but in truth is in the depths of advanced delusion. I have no idea. What I do know is you should buy the whole series and try and work it out for yourself. I hope he is as genuine as I want him to be, but I (like many reading this) have seen it all before. It is this book which feels much more like sophisticated opinion that something which is entirely known as fact; if anything can be fact other than in a relative context. No idea. I suggest you read the books, do the practices and tell me what you have learned in a year or so.

Excellent Book
I have read three books from this author (The Yoga Of Consciousness, Turiya: The God State and Kundalini Exposed) and would highly recommend all of them. They are all full of lots of important information, but at the same time are easy to read and are just the correct length (not too short or too long).I would recommend this book to anyone interested in growing spiritually.

Just a philosophy
It is just a complilation of material borrowed from here and there, arranged only as assuming an effect of state of turiya .It is just a philosophical presentation.Anonymous person can never reveal the real ultimate truth. And satat-Gaman looks meaningful to me.
