I bought older model last year https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DCX7LSK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Liked it much better as the screen constantly shows 0 ppm. new one screen goes off only indicator of working is green light flash every 35 secs. the screen constant showing 0 ppm to me just an added comfort the battery lasted fimne in the older model changed battery once in the year have had it. gives small chip when batt needs changing

It definitely detects CO and smoke, however the one I have DOES NOT actually sound any alarm, which makes it completely useless! I guess it’ll make the coroner’s job easier if they find me dead with this stupid device beside me giving a reading of what was in the air that killed me in my sleep!

Randomly keeps beeping. While flashing a green light. There is NOWHERE on the monitor that explains that. All say when the red light flashes with how many beeps means this or that. Every time it happens I put new batteries assuming its low batteries. This happens about 3 times a year! So, randomly started beeping once per 30 seconds. Took batteries out, added new batteries. Same thing! Switched batteries around. Kept pushing the "Silence" button which is bull crap. It never silences it! No where in the user manual does it say how to fix this problem. So after wasting batteries I'm getting a different brand and just a smoke detector. Not the fancy other stuff its supposed to detect.

Nice smoke and carbon monoxide detector perfect for any house that uses gas or even for a camper or RV. This unit is nice because its a compact unit that runs off batteries so no need to wire up anything. Perfect for a kitchen or laundry room if you have gas connections. The digital display is easy to read and works great. Great value for the price.

I’m a big fan of combo CO/smoke detectors. We have a pellet stove in the house, and need to be able to detect both. Having separate devices is a pain.In New York, the law went into effect a few months ago, requiring that all smoke detectors come with sealed batteries. This is why I was happy to find this thing, where I can use 3 AA rechargeable batteries. I’ll probably have to charge them once a year.

Purchased 3 of these and installed them in advance of the Fire Inspection a week before closing. The Town of Ridgewood (NJ) inspector failed these as they are no UL approved and he could not find anything online regarding the product. I purchased these over 6 months ago in anticipation of the sale and now they product is no longer carried. If the manufacturer is reading this comment, please send me the UL approval documentation ASAP as it's not stamped on your product.

This is a defective product. After two months, it started making annoying clicking noises and I could not stop the noises nomatter what. The new battery did not help. Took it down and threw it in garbage. Do not even think about purchasing this. The seller does not stand back of its products.

No review. Returned wasnt what I was looking for. But looked as described
