Leisure Time Spa N Filter Clean Spa and Hot Tub Cleanser, 16 fl oz

Bullfrog R-Series spa conveyed with house. Purchased Leisure Time spa cleaner. Worked great! It foamed a lot though, which was unexpected. But after draining the spa and a thorough rinse and new filters, the spa looks good. Clear water and no residue. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this to try and clean 5 Intex type H inflatable pool filters since they are currently ridiculously expensive to replace. All 5 filters were OEM and they were used until pump flow slowed, cleaned with a hose, and then reused repeatedly until they would no longer work like new when reinstalling. Two gallons of water in a five gallon bucket was enough to cover 5 type H filters and allowed only half the bottle of filter cleaner to be used. I let them sit 12 hours, cleaned them with a hose, and then let them sit for another 24 hours. An overnight soak is probably plenty but I didn't see anything wrong with letting them sit longer. They were then removed, cleaned with a hose, and allowed to dry. All filters were much cleaner than just washing them with a hose and started to act like new again. Seems like it will add enough life to make it a worthy purchase.

This is a small bottle, will go to the local store next time. This may work for one cleaning for a swim spa with 3 filters.

Leisure time products are by far the best I've found. These are the only products we use in out hot tub. The cartridge cleaner specifically gets extra life out of expensive filters.

You have to use the whole bottle to do one clean! I would much rather buy somthing that i could use over and over again to keep cost down but this product is a one time thing.
