These are super comfy and versatile. The treads are grippy, but non-scuffing, making them perfect for boat shoes. I'll call these true to size, but expect them to fit your feet like gloves. Not necessarily tight, but almost form-fitting. I tried the next size up thinking these might run a little small, but 8.5 was actually perfect.All in all, a stellar investment for versatile, aesthetically-pleasing boat shoes. The heel also folds down for seamless slip-on mode. Like 2 shoes in 1! Highly recommend!

True to size.I’m usually a size 7-7.5 in US sizing, but sized up to size 8 after watching the video, but I think I would probably be ok if I went with my original size. I wear them with socks so it wasn’t too much of a problem, and I was worried that my feet would swell after a long plane ride, so size 8 worked well with my feet.No breaking in needed.Absolutely didn’t need time to break in, though I did need one day of wearing to get used to the arches as I’ve never bought shoes with arch support. The back of the shoe is extremely soft and made it very easy to slip on and off for going through customs, on the plane, and at mosques, however whenever people stepped onto my shoe, my whole foot slipped out of the shoe which made it slightly annoying.Very comfortable.I bought these shoes for my Dubai and Brunei trip, which would involve a lot of walking. I was slightly worried as the soles didn’t feel as soft as I anticipated, but was super surprised that my feet didn’t ache at all during my 8-day trip, and now I don’t feel right when I’m wearing shoes without arch support although I don’t have flat feet or high arches.Looks good with anything.I have a lot of white shoes at home already, so I decided to go with Tapa, which looked good with all the outfits I wore on my trip, including dresses. Even my mum noticed my new pair of shoes and said they were very functional and didn’t look anything like the traditional walking shoes with arch support which are usually very bulky and not stylish. Extremely breathable, and although a lot of sand got in my shoes when I was at the Arabian Desert, it was very easy to shake the sand out of my shoes.Quick shipping.I live in Hong Kong, and I ordered my Olukais on 14th March and received them on 23rd March, just in time for my trip.

very comfortable, run a bit small in length. I'm generally an 8.5 or 9 wide, I ordered the 9 and they fit well. I took a star off because they wore out in six months. I had to replace the insoles after a couple of months and now I'm looking at replacing them. I wore them every two or three days (not daily). Also, if you're looking for support, these are more like a barefoot shoe so would require some work replacing insoles.

I love these sneakers! I have problems finding sneakers that are comfortable, providing good arch support and that don't suffocate my feet. These sneakers not only look great, but they have plenty of arch support so I don't have to buy inserts. The shoe is made from a mesh material that appears to be lightweight and breathable, but sturdy and likely long wearing. I have sensitive heels, and my favorite thing about the OLUKAI shoes I have, is that they are kind to sensitive heels. I wanted to try these in particular, because the heel can be folded down and you can slip your foot into them without the shoe touching your foot at all. That's a plus, but the heel part is soft and pliable, so if you prefer the security of having a back on your sneakers to keep your feet in your shoes (my usual preference), it won't rub a sore on your heel. All of this, taken together, make these sneakers my new favorites. I wear a size 8 1/2 and these fit perfectly. The quality and attention to detail, from the laces to the rubber soles, make them well worth the price. I do wish they came in some fun colors or even patterns, but maybe that's something to look forward to in the future.

I love these shoes. They are completely adorable. However I did sustain bad sisters on my pinky toes due to the tight fit of the toe area. It is wide enough but the canvas doesn't provide enough space in height of the toe box area. It does have a narrow fit, but I also have narrow feet so this is an unusual issue for me. I ordered up in size because other reviews said they ran tight. The area where the top is sewn to the side panel creates a ridge that is pretty uncomfortable so I had to wear a thicker sock. They get dirty easily especial when folding the heel for slip on use. I coated mine in stain/water repellent spray which helps them clean up in the wash easily. I definitely suggest treating them before use to keep them bright and white. After wearing them 6/7 times they started to loosen up more and were more comfortable. Although I love the style and footbed comfort the other issues rained on my parade. I wouldn't plan on taking a new pair on vacation like did. Give them time to break in. For the price, I expected a better, more comfortable fit.

Love these shoes, so pretty and comfortable

Perfect for me for Spring/Summer with arch support. I have narrow flat feet. I bought a 7.5 based on other reviews and they were right. Just the right amount of room and support for me to wear a no show thin sock. I’m in love with these!
