2nd and 3rd graders love this book
Second and third graders loved this book. This is one book in the series of Stink. I would try to start out with the first book in the series and move along the line from there. It’s also great to read as a guided reading book in the classroom as well as for enjoyment at home.

A good read!
My son just turned 7 and is in 2nd grade. He finished the Hooked on Phonics Master Reading Program over the summer and was quite bored with the Strange Museum books. My son has really enjoyed the My Weird School series and I was looking for another series for him to begin reading in order to switch things up. A website for reluctant boy readers recommended this series. My son really enjoys this book. We read it together and he reads some chapters silently. It's a really good introduction to early chapter books.

Got my 2nd grader interested in reading and loves to read now.
I LOVE these series and so does my 7 year old. We are waiting for the last book. I use these for homeschooling my boys. They actually can't wait for reading. They are funny and reference today's interests. I would recommend to anyone. It really improved his reading skills. We just wish the series continues.

7 yo grandson loved this book
He is an avid reader in the 2nd grade and loves sharks. He read several chapters to me and he seemed to enjoy a story about a boy his age coming in to contact with sharks via a sleepover at an aquarium. His parents said he finished the book faster then usual. I'll be buying him more "Stink" books.

Yes, spot on made me laugh as well as my daughter. Not recommended for bedtime reading (unless you can sneak back to read next chapter yourself :-) )

The Stink series is a great read for any second or third grader
My son is 8 and he loves the Stink series. I do not need to prod him to read the Stink series. These books and Stink and his friends speak to his sense of humor and the Zeitgeist of 8 year olds today. This particular book addresses the issue of having one’s first sleepover without one’s parents. Stink always came home from sleepovers. After Stink’s parents win a night in an aquarium, Stink and his friends spend the night there. The author writes the Stink series so that parents can have a laugh should your child read aloud while simultaneously writing for 8 year olds.

Perfect series for young readers!
I have these books to thank for getting my son hooked on reading! Easy enough to not be challenging but hard enough that he is learning to read new words too! Our favorite series to cuddle up and read together. As an adult I enjoy the series as well! We love Stink and the shenanigans he gets up to in each book!
