There is a body of evidence that Vitamin C when taken in mega doses has huge benefits for humans. Like guinea pigs, we are some of the only mammals who cannot make Vitamin C in our body naturally, so we have to consume it in our diets. Well, the amounts consumed by 30 oranges are still pretty low, so it helps to supplement with Ascorbic Acid, which in powder form is very good value for money. Take 10g dissolved in water, every 5 hours or so. I was trying to take 10,000 mg a day for a while so bought this big bag. It is good but it makes me feel awful and burns my throat and stomach even when the doses are split and added to orange juice . It’s difficult to take for me due to these effects

Some whole meal recipes call for Vitamin C. Whether it actually does anything I don’t know, but it’s what is called for and difficult to find anywhere else. Well packaged item with comprehensive instructions

It dissolves quite well in warm water but you don't want to use water that's too hot because that can destroy it.. and if you use warm water, drink it a.s.a.p.Another thing is the dosage instructions on the packet is wrong! 1 mg of pure vitamin C powder equals to 1/4 teaspoon. Not 1/2 teaspoon like what the packet claims. If you drink 1/2 teaspoon at once, you would be fine, honestly. It's a myth that many conventional doctors say - that more than 1mg vit C will kill you, give you kidney stones, or whatever. Lots of people on the vit C community take upwards of 4 mg Vit C a day with no problems and in fact, it cured their problems like flu, fever, bowel movement problems, energy levels, etc. But I thought I should just mention that the dosage instructions on the package is wrong. If you have pre-existing gut issues, you might find that your gut can't tolerate as high an intake of vit C, that maybe even 1/2 teaspoon at a time is too much for you - i.e. causes you flatulence or diarrhea.. And that's okay. Keep taking it in smaller doses that your gut can handle. Over time, the vit C will change your gut microbiome and make your gut healthier again. Good luck.

I just mix some with a little Ribena and water. Sure beats sucking on a lemon. Very good value when you consider the ridiculous amount you can pay for 20 fizzy tablets. Not quite as convenient but a kilo of it last ages. Have to recommend this company, I use a lot of their products and they're simply packaged, value for money and good quality.
