I am so glad I did not purchase this this is not recommended ...
My friend left this at my house when she was staying overnight flying to Australia. She said I could keep it and that it works really well. I have been using this twice a day once in the morning and overnight I have found it really does nothing.I can't believe people spend hundreds of dollars on this... in the past my boss bought me a jar of la prairie and I saw results in 1 day, so I thought for this price range this product would be the same. That is not the case at all.The bottle was full when she gave it to me and a week later the top that is glued to the cap already fell off so there's glue flaking off all around it and often gets on my skin. I am so glad I did not purchase this this is not recommended whatsoever. I have no idea what it is even supposed to do because I'm saying no results. I see better results with a bottle of bliss lotion I got for free at the W Hotel, lol.

Amazing results
Order it for lady I work for and at 85 she looks amazing! She’s been using this for years and contributes her 40 year old skin to these La mer products! Too expensive for my budget but seems to produce amazing results

If you already love The Concentrate then you'll know if this is a good deal for you. If this serum is new to you though then maybe this is one of those things to try from a department store where you can get a sample. My experience: I found this formula really does very little to re-texturize the skin in any way. It does smell great and also leaves the skin *temporarily* feeling very supple and silky but I found the effects did not last. At this price, disappointing to say the least.Usually my spending trends follow the "you get what you pay for" rule but expensive doesn't always equal "worth it". I found I got nearly the exact same results from a drugstore brand - Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum, Fragrance Free, 1.7-Fluid Ounces leaves the skin feeling almost identical to The Concentrate. Since this is a serum, you'll *still* need to moisturize.Hope this helps and good luck with whichever product you choose.

Amazing for Rosacea
I buy from Nordstrom, not from Amazon.com as I am concerned about authenticity. I started with a sample about 3 or 4 years ago that I got absolutely hooked on. This product really works for me. I've tried just about everything else over the years, from organic products to drug store products to Avene, La Roche, Murad, etc....even tried the Estee Lauder line, regular and for intolerant skin about 15 years ago. Tried Clarins, Clinique, Shiseido, Christian Dior...you get the picture. Curiously, I even tried a few Olay products. All the organic products and drug store products that didn't irritate my allergies seemed to not have any anti-aging properties. Some of those drug store products were no better than straight vaseline. And the rest of the products really exacerbated my rosacea. Ditto for the dept store products. The Christian Dior and Shiseido products made my skin look relatively wonderful...for about two weeks until I started breaking out in little rashes. My issue is that I have rosacea and occasionally allergic dermatitis. This is why most products don't work for me. On top of that, in my early 40's, after coming off of my pregnancy hormones, I noticed that my skin texture was dramatically changing--getting crepey, blotchy, and wrinkles that I had been cultivating since my early thirties that now looked like deep furrows. Well, I got talked into trying a sample of The Concentrate by a personal shopper, against my better judgment...and, well, it was very soothing and after about a week of use I noticed that my redness was diminishing. I've been using this product for over 3 years now and it has really improved the texture and look of my skin, and my rosacea is still under control. If I wear a little sunscreen, drink too much caffeine, or skip a day or two of use, the redness will come right back (because I have rosacea), and I get the tactless comments from co-workers and the ugly comments from vendors in shopping malls again. I cannot go without this product--there is no other substitute. This is truly much more than the sum of its ingredients. I don't actually care what the ingredients are...I just know that it works for me. And yes, this is a serum so you do need to use a moisturizer on top of it unless you have oily skin. Note that this is probably a complete waste of money unless you have problem skin like me and are sick of experimenting with so many products. Footnote: this and the eye concentrate are the only La Mer products that I can use. La Mer adds too much junk to their other products and I react to them.
