MFJ-108B Clock, 12/24-hour, LCD, Dual

This is my second purchase of this item (15Oct2019). The price from Amazon was $35.00 and received in two days. Ordering direct from MFJ would have cost $42.00, because of high shipping cost and would take a week to deliver. My first purchase of this item was many many years ago from MFJ. The clocks have worked great, but recently the 12 hour clock just displayed garbage symbols, regardless of changing batteries a few times. No complaints, because it lasted a long time. It came with LR43 186 type batteries installed (make sure you open the battery cover and remove the paper insulator, otherwise, you would think the batteries were dead). These are very nice clocks for my ham radio.

Tiny clock. Much smaller than I thought. It just feels cheap, like something I'd buy at a thrift store for $3. lastly, when it arrived the digital screen wasn't working right - lights burned out - so on top of everything else it didn't work. Needless to say I sent it back for refund.

Aside from devoting a clock to UTC time, this is a handy dual clock to help keep track of Nets. The batteries are a little difficult to remove. You have to remove tabs behind the batteries during initial setup. I guessed it had them behind the batteries to keep them from discharging. It does not state anything needs to be removed. While not hard to figure out, there is no setup information on the box whatsoever.My biggest complaint is the cost of the unit. In my opinion, it is rather costly for what you get. But if you want a dual clock of this type there are not many options.

Highly disappointed that the clock came with two dead cell batteries. Now I will have to replace them to know if it actually works or works as described. The clock is much smaller than I expected, but the dimensions were probably at the bottom of the listing and I did not read them. The picture gave me the impression that it is a small/medium sized desk clock. Instead, it is a pretty small clock that probably goes on the top of a desktop monitor with its slitting.

Obviously it depends on your objective. In my situation it works great to have other time zones underneath my monitor for work. This fits nicely under the monitor and is simple/easy to read at my desk.I do agree it is over priced however this works perfect for what I needed it for.

My experience was similar to reviewer Jon. The clock is an aluminum base with two very cheap looking digital clocks with "CHINA" prominently displayed on the back. The displays were both blanks and will not come on so I am assuming it arrived with dead batteries. Tested and, yes, the LR43 button battery in each clock was dead. That's not a battery I keep on hand so I'll have to buy a couple to find out if there are other problems. Very disappointed that the batteries were apparently installed at the factory so the product could arrive dead. The MFJ description says "You can synchronize the two clock faces to WWV for split-second timing." You have to do this manually because the two clocks do NOT sync automatically. (For that matter I can sync my $3 desk clock to WWV for split second timing.)

Easy to set up. Second one I've had. Use one when I was in HAM Radio.

I had an old one and it needed to be replaced. I love my new one .

Ürün kaliteli güzel, çok büyük değil ama işinizi görücek telsizin üstünde yerini alacak şekilde... Fiyatı ürüne göre pahalı diye düşünüyorum. zira bu küçüklükte bir ürünün fiyatının daha düşük olmasını beklerdim.

Prodotto eccessivamente caro per la qualità dell'oggetto e per la sua funzionalità.Si tratta di due orologi di scarsissimo valore intrinseco, completamente autonomi ed assolutamente non sincroni fra loro. L'orario mostrato è assolutamente poco attendibile. Dopo qualche settimana ciascuno di loro indica un orario completamente diverso da quello effettivo (sia locale che UTC). Alla fine il divario fra gli orari è di tale entità da non riuscire più a comprendere quali dei due abbia guadagnato (o perso) più distanza rispetto all'orario reale. Prodotto non consigliabile. Meglio acquistare due svegliette digitali da tenere in stazione.

Está muy bien para el cuarto de radio. Yo lo encuentro útil.
