Great kit but could do with a valve stop at nozzle

Liked the length and the fact it won't tear, taking it from back garden to front garden.

This is my second purchase after 5 happy years, as unfortunately my husband ran over the last one in his car! I decided to replaced the wall mounted reel at the same time, however Hoselock have changed their fittings so now it won't accept this hose. I would welcome any suggestions.

So far this has worked for me. I have been using the flexible lightweight hoses which are fine but I have been through about eight in two years as they keep bursting, and contrary to the hype they can't be fixed! I originally changed from a traditional rubber hose because it was too heavy for me, but I have given up on the flexi-hoses now. I bought this one because I thought it would be sturdier. So far so good, but I haven't overcome the weight issue as it is still quite heavy because it is effectively a 100ft shower hose! :) However it hasn't burst yet so fingers crossed.

Our standard PVC garden hose is a bit too heavy for daily watering, so we tried using light weight flexible cloth-covered hoses. I became quite skilled at repairing stretches, punctures, and end-failures on these hoses, but I was losing my sense of humour, so we decided to try a metal hose, and we are very happy with the decision. It is surprisingly easy to handle, much lighter than the PVC hose, and very forgiving of being dragged around the garden! Expensive, but worth the money.

I am SO glad I bought this hose. It is the only hose that doesn’t kink which is brilliant. All other hoses I’ve bought kink even when the manufacturers say they don’t . This one definitely doesn’t. It’s lightweight as well which makes it easy to move around. I bought another one last year to use in a different part of the garden and was able to leave it out over the winter whereas normally I’d be storing it in the shed. It meant that it was there ready to use to water the greenhouse on a warm day instead of using watering cans. It came to no I’ll effects being left out over winter tucked under the hedge. It coils up as well when not in use . Definitely get one of these. You won’t be disappointed.

I have used this hose daily for 5 months from receipt and it has developed a large split that floods the ground when used. This type of hose is not repairable, so will have to bin it. Not good value for money.I did like using it before it split though. Light and manoeuvrable but doesn't roll up well.Found the fitting difficult to attach to standard hose connectors e.g. hozelock accessories.If this item had been reliable and long-lasting it would be OK, but now I don't rate it at all.

The hose is beautiful and very easy to pull around the garden, it arrived with all the attachments so we were able to fit it to our old tap. the nozzle is fabulous. Such a relief after our old rubber hose which had sprung leaks and wasted water, and was also inclined to kink and cut off supply. What a relief to have something so easy to control.
