"NOT" TOP NOTCH QUALITY
I purchased 4 brand new Seatcraft Pantheon Big and Tall 400 lbs. capacity individual seats. Upon assembly I noticed that the lights in one of the seat does not work at all. I checked all connections, I followed the trouble shooting guide that came with the seats and the lights never came on. Another seat has a screw under and inside the left arm of the chair that was not screwed in to the wood. It seems that upon assembly, someone forgot to screw in that piece of wood and it is literally just flapping. The problem with this is that if I try to store something inside the storage compartment in the arm of the chair, the items will fall all the way to the bottom of the chair. I tried to fix it by screwing the screw in to the wood, but in order for me to do so I would have to tear apart the staples holding the fabric underneath the chair and even then I could not fully reach the screw.A third chair came with the entire left side of the fabric underneath the chair, not stapled to the wood. This is really bad craftsmanship, not taking pride in the trade that employs and feeds you, and a bad lack of attention to detail and final inspection of the product. The left side arm of the fourth chair does not closes all the way. All four chairs had some kind of defect right out of the box. The people that are selling these chairs, do not take the time to conduct a final inspection of each chair before they ship it out to the customer. There is no pride in the assembly and or craftsmanship of these chairs. I paid over $5,300.00 for the 4 chairs and I am not impressed with them. These problem are not good at all because they are the first impressions that I got right after I opened the packaged chairs; also I thought that I was purchasing top quality seats but they are not.

Very Well Made Chair and Comfortable, Almost a Solid 10
Since there are currently no reviews for this chair, I thought I would leave one. To begin, I give this chair a solid 9 out of 10 with an A+ overall rating. This is a big and heavy chair built like a tank. The leather is impressive; it’s something you feel and smell as soon as you sit down. The feeling you get is that this covering (leather) will last a lifetime and only get better with time. It’s very well padded and very comfortable but, you’ve got to be tall (over 6 feet) or the lumber support just won’t hit in the correct position. I’m 6’2’’ and even for me it hits a little high, away from the natural curvature of my back. I like to slouch when I sit so for me I would like it a little lower. I would say that for anyone over 6’3’’ this would be a perfect lumbar fit. No matter, the lumbar is adjustable so I personally either don’t use it or I just barely adjust it up.Now when I first began this review I thought about giving this chair an 8 out of 10 rating because the only thing I dislike about this design is the position of the electric controls. While not a deal breaker, without a doubt, they should have been around the cup holders or somewhere on the top of the chair because even after a few weeks of becoming familiar with the buttons, I still find myself fumbling and missing or hitting the wrong button. They are close together and the light around them only illuminates for a few seconds after they are touched, which is a little late after your fingers land on a button you didn’t mean to land on. I actually hate the position of the adjustments because they are not intuitive. I’m a tech guy and electronics just make sense to me but, this is one poorly laid out design. The position of the controls should not be where they are. Having said that, it’s not the worst thing and I imagine over time I’ll be able to get used to using these controls a little more. Now aesthetics are subjective but, to me this chair looks and is rich and expensive from top to bottom. Obviously my biggest concern initially was buying a chair before actually sitting in it. I visited all my local stores and sat in 50 or more recliners before this purchase. After everything, I am so happy with my purchase. This is not a good chair, this is an excellent chair and as I began this review, if the controls were somewhere on top of the arms and well, if I were a little taller, I would have given this chair the highest rating possible. The design cannot be faulted because I’m just a little to short 6’2’’ for a perfect lumbar fit but, as I mentioned earlier I just don’t use this feature much.A final note: I purchased the Soundshaker amp separately which you will need to get the bass up and running in this chair. I like it and it does add to the experience when watching movies quite a lot. The shaker is subtle, not something you feel all the time. When the action is right the Soundshaker does actually create quite a large effect which is absolutely worthwhile and significant. It’s something you never thought you needed until you have it then you just want more. Anyway, read the reviews here on Amazon. People do overall really like it and they’re correct in my view.To sum up my review, if you’re tall, at least 6 ft. you will love this chair. If you’re shorter than 6 ft. you’ll be very comfortable but you may not benefit from the lumbar support, in which case you don’t have to use it. Just buy it; you’re not going to find a better made or more comfortable and durable chair for under $2,000, very well done Seatcraft, just move the electric adjustment controls to the top. Buying on Amazon is a no brainer because after ordering hundreds of products I have experienced first rate customer support. I’ve had a few issues over the years and each was fully resolved to my satisfaction. I always feel like my back in covered when I shop on Amazon and it always has been. You have to love a company that does it consistently well.

Disappointment
I have a lifetime experience in the furniture industry having designed, made, and sold more luxury product than anyone in the industry. My expectations were not met with this purchase. The videos fooled me. The beautiful design & quality leather of the chair hides the poor interior scaling of the back, leg, and seat cushions. They are unproportional to anyone's body big or small female or male. The lower back protrudes stiff and hard in to the lower back and the seat cushion is , at least, 4 inches short of the inner knee forcing all of the body's weight on the actual tailbone. In a recline there is actual space between cushion and lower back. The head rest doesn't even come close to providing comfortable head support no matter what motion adjustments are made. Its hard as a rock. Even the electronics of the chair do not adjust the legs to a full recline without laying the back of the chair 145 degrees with the face pointed at the ceiling. The leg lift reclines only at 45% for TV viewing with absolutely no head touching the cushion support. All the weight is pitched square on the sitter's mid-Back. There is no means of adjusting the legs and back independently to get that comfort level;. There is no electronic position that anyone can create that comes close to being comfortable. The arm rests are pitched so far forward the elbows are the only part of the upper body touching the cushioned arm rests. Both the lower arm and hands extend in to the air or over a hard drink cup in the container (with a drink placed one's arm rests on the top of cup. One cannot even comfortably grasp a drink in the container without shifting the body to the left or right or picking the drink up by the lips with fingers. The remaining 3/4 of the arm rests extend far behind the back of the chair. "Whats that all about?" My wife laughed as I reclined in this chair as I was propped on top of the chair like an hard outdoor lounge chair rather than comfortably pitched deep in the chair. This chair is designed & engineered for and by Institutional or Contract industry (think dental chair) not for residential comfort. I am so harsh with my review because I truly thought this had to be the recliner I've been dreaming about. I am sorry.
