My Dog is Back on Her Feet!!!
Before I get into a detailed review, I want to make sure those skimming reviews know the critical info on this product because it WILL help your best buddy in most cases.* The reviews are very mixed and that is for two primary reasons, size or falling off.* Size - Based on reviews, if you have a very large breed the socks may not fit. I purchased the largest size for my Lab (40LB) who has large paws and they are a little loose. See Pic.* Falling Off - Here is the big issue with a lot of these dog products. Socks, Shoes, you name it, these things don't stay on. There was a tip from another reviewer to use Vet Wrap to keep them on. However, that reviewer did not have success in her case. The primary reason appears to be the pet was too mobile and needed the sock for recovery on an injury. The mobility plays a key part in preventing it from falling off. If your dog has low mobility, they should not lose the sock with vet wrap in place. Amazon sells the Vet Wrap that I purchased which is generic and has many color options. Now that the high level details are finished, I will add additional information on my experience. My oldest dog is a lab and is going on 12 years who had excellent mobility before we moved to a new house with hardwood floors on the 1st FL. We did not realize that over time or if there is a bad slip, your dog can injure themselves. Due to her age, she has a delayed nerve response on her rear right leg which is causing the slipping to become a major issue.Beyond working with our Vet, I needed something to give her traction on the hardwood. All the products seem to have the same issue, they are effective but don't stay on or have poor durability. We initially tried the socks by themselves and it worked but they slipped off. Then I read about Vet Wrap in a review and looked into the product. It is a non-adhesive compression wrap that works perfectly to keep the socks on.The socks are only needed for her rear legs and I keep them on all day and take them off at night. She is able to go into the backyard with them on and she doesn't run fast enough to get them loose. Overall they have made a HUGE difference and she is able to move around the hardwood confidently and does not slip. I would give this product 4 stars but I can't blame them for the fact that similar products all have the same issue of staying on the feet.

WONDERFUL for senior dogs- better than boots, cotton socks
Dog socks seem silly, but honestly these were a godsend for our senior dog. They served two purposes for us. 1) She had stability issues from a lot of muscle atrophy in her hind legs. The sock helped her "stick" to surfaces much better which helped keep her from doing splits. 2) She developed a foot drag/knuckled her foot on one leg which meant she was scraping her knuckles open on the sidewalk during walks. Her poor knuckles had a terrible time healing up, but keeping this sock on her any time she was outside helped protect it enough that she could finally heal. We did eventually wear holes through two socks (imagine dragging it against a sidewalk like coarse sandpaper), but they held up extremely well all things considered. The dog socks without rubber wore a hole through in just one walk! She also could not use traditional doggy booties with how she knuckled her foot because of the flat bottom. (And they never stayed on her anyway.) These fit snuggly/sizing chart was appropriate, and these were the only socks that stayed up at all with the amount of friction she produced from dragging it. They were pretty easy to put on if you turn it almost completely inside out, push the first inch of her toes into it, then flip it right side out up over her foot. The rubber on the bottom also helped them from getting too gross in wet/muddy areas outside. We got to enjoy an extra month or so with our dog still being able to go on short walks outside because of these socks and we're very thankful for that.

Works great to keep my older dog from slipping on the hardwood floors.

His back legs aren't as good as they used to be, so he would slip and slide and fall when he was on my hardwood floors. As you can see from the video, he can now walk on the floors fine without slipping.I was worried he would hate having them on, but he barely seemed to notice and didn't try to remove them or anything.

Helpful in many ways
Bought these for my standard poodle whom I take to the hospital as a therapy dog. She wears these so I can purell her feet between rooms but bonus is that everyone giggles and thinks she is adorable. That's why I got the pink...we have had black for snow and other dogs but needed to be fancy for patient visits. Note that these are not all the way waterproof but we dont need them to be. Other cranky dogs have tolerated these just fine for snowy walks and for covering a hurt paw. They can be bunched up like a kid's sock so they go on easily and are not too stiff. Also used for an old dog that started dragging his foot so he was rubbing it raw until I put this on him. No problem! Easily washable and dry overnight on a table and you can use on any foot so you can intermix multiple sets if they get mixed up. Order a little larger if you are between sizes for comfort and ease of putting on. Also they last pretty well but they aren't expensive if you do happen to wear them out.

Size small works great and staying on good so far. He struggles with weakness in hips and back legs. Hardwood floors have also been brutal on him. He seems content in his new kicks and is moving around much more. Veryhappy with purchase!Update.... still using these and have purchased several over the last 2 years. Bennie is now nearing 18 years old and they help his mobility and mood. He gets quite excited after we put them on. We don’t keep them on 24/7 to give the feet time to breath. Now we generally only put them on the front paws so he’s basically front wheel drive! I’ve even washed them in the washing machine. The only issues I have is that they eventually get holes from the nails and loose their friction with the bottom getting smooth. But all expected with wear and tear. I sometimes put a piece of sticky friction tape cut small to put on the bottom.Overall still love this product. Just be sure to go about 2 sizes down if you want them to stay on snug.

Comfortable and durable. A well made product.
They were the only sock with a good strong grippy sole that I could get in a small enough size. My Jack Russell has very small feet and gets sore toes. These stayed on pretty well but to be sure I also put a little medical tape around the top. She got used to them pretty quickly as they are not bulky and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

Great product!! I recommend them to everyone.
Fantastic. Changed my 13-year old dog's life. He wears these 24-7 except on walks outside. He was afraid to walk on our slippery floors inside because he would slip and hurt his arthritic hips. Now he walks without fear and can go longer on our outdoor walks because he is not hurting himself inside. Moisture doesn't build up too badly inside the sock which is fantastic. I highly recommend these. I've had them for a month and they are holding up. He uses them inside and in the back yard. They only come off for our longer walks, but really I should be taking them off nightly. I hope they hold up in the winter and that they don't fall off on the snow!! So far, they stay up perfectly!! He is wearing a size medium and he is a 50 lb standard poodle. I might try a large next time as these looked a little small but he seems comfortable in them and I'm worried that if I go up in size they might then slip off? I don't know. Oh, I'm a veterinarian of that gives my endorsement more weight.

Great Product!
I've purchased this product before, so I knew what I was getting, but this is the first time I've purchased it from Amazon.ca. I usually purchase a pack of small and x-small because of the sizes difference between the front and back paws.I really like this product, I use the socks to protect my dogs paws from the harsh winter elements and the salt. During the walk, I have to stop periodically to pull the socks up because the constant movement of the paws causes the socks to slide down. RC Pet Products Sport Pawks Dog Socks, X-Small, Charcoal Heather To prevent this problem, I purchase a pack of Etopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards. Etopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards With the socks on, I began with cutting the bandages to the length that I needed. Leaving 1/3 to 2/3 of the base of the sock exposed (depending on the size of your dog's paws) I wrapped the bandages tightly around each sock as if I were wrapping a bandage around a paw. I would definitely purchase both of these products again as well as recommend them. Enjoy! : ) RC Pet Products Sport Pawks Dog Socks, X-Small, Charcoal HeatherEtopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards

No son para deporte. Duraron 20 mins.
