MSSV KIK Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker with Built in Powerbank and Mic (Black)

Bluetooth problems.I was impressed with this product, the size, the packaging and the sound was very good, but a little lacking in clarity with the spoken voice vis-a-vis music.The reason for the poor review is the fact that when viewing videos playing on my iPad, regardless of the source, (YouTube, Netflex etc.) the audio was out of sync with the video. The sound lags the video by a second so when watching someone speak, i.e. the lips would be moving on the video but the sound coming from this would be heard a second or so later.Watching videos from my iPad was the only reason I purchased this speaker, so back it goes. Too bad, really because for the price, I feel the unit is pretty darn nice!The only other quibble is that the controls are hard to read because they are made of the same color and type of material as the case. I had to keep getting my glasses out and have a light on in order to see the controls.

I ordered and received this product 3 months ago and was very happy with the purchase. It worked well, the sound quality was great and was a good value.HOWEVER, after only three months, the product crapped out. I tried to stream it from my devices but no sound would come out of the speaker. I troubleshooted between devices and realized that there was some sound coming from the speaker but it was so quiet that I could barely hear it and the volume on the speaker does not respond when I press the buttons.The product is no longer eligable for return so I cant get a new one or my money back.BUMMED :(

This speaker for 40$ was a solid purchase. For the size of it, it produces quite big sound with relatively noticeable highs and lows. The speaker will fill a dorm room or small area with clear sound, but it won't rock a gymnasium. Very quality for its price. It also can charge your device with USB so that is useful. Its rubber outing is durable and sturdy, safe for dropping accidentally​. Only complaint is slight distortion at the highest volume possible, other than that, excellent product.

This speaker is AMAZING for this price!! I opened it and had music within 40 seconds. The sound coming from this portable speaker rivals the best on the market. Priced right as well. I took the speaker outside then to my garage, and it worked no problem. Also save the case it comes with, because it keeps it dust free and provides storage for the 2 cords that come with it. SOOOO glad I bought this speaker and got it thru amazon. PERFECT !!

Update 12/31/15: After having this for several months now, I've been noticing a lot of random shut downs. It would play fine for a few minutes, but then just turns itself off with the on/off switch still on. When this happens I just have to flip it back off and then on again and it would work. This happens infrequently, sometimes it plays just fine for however long I have it going. When this problem does occur though, it's just annoying.Update 9/3/15: The company managed to finally get back in touch with me and they were completely professional about the whole situation. Seems like customer service is one of their top priories, and they replaced my defective device hassled free. Correspondence was easy and the shipment was fast as well. Again, I really did like these speakers it's just unfortunate that some how a defective one came into my possession. Still loving the amazing sound quality for the price that I paid. Even with all the hassle of getting a new device, they deserve a 5/5 on their customer service alone.I bought this over a month ago and it was really amazing for the price. The bass, mids, and highs were really good when comparing it to the quality to price ratio.With that being said though, just a few weeks ago I ran out of batteries while using it. I turned it off and plugged it in to charge over night. When I woke up for work, I unplugged it and just left it on my desk. Later in the evening, I went to turn it on but the usual blue light that turns on did not and the usual sound that it would make when turning it on did not come on either. I thought I didn't charge it or something, but when I plugged it up again the back light that shows that it is charge would turn on for a few seconds and then turned off again. This means that it is fully charged. The weird thing is that I was still able to connect to it through bluetooth on my phone (which is the on device that I use to pair with this speaker).I can see the device on my phone, the battery shown on my phone for the device was fully charge. I tried playing some music from my phone and again, nothing was coming out of the speakers at all. Nothing I tried seemed to work, again the only thing that works is the charging light from the back and the ability to connect through bluetooth. I tried to contact the manufacturer (MSSV) through their official website and left a few messages for them. Their website stated that once I submit the request, allow them 1-2 business days and they will get back to me. It's been almost 2 weeks and I've yet to received anything from them.All in all, it really is a good device. Just hope that you're not unlucky like me and get a defective one because you'll basically be stuck with a bluetooth paper weight.

Do not buy!!!This product lasted all of two months (return window is one month, conveniently). In under 8 weeks it has gone from a pretty decent speaker - that I've never used anywhere other than my bathroom an hour or so a day tops - to having almost ZERO sound output. I've tried cranking it to full volume and nothing. Only way I can tell it's on is putting my ear to it. I'm throwing in the trash as it's not even remotely functional enough to donate.I'd used the cheap Jam Bluetooth speakers for years but wanted to upgrade to something a little nicer so got this one. And it's now useless after 2 months.

I ordered one of these to use around the house. It sounds super clean and has amazing bass response, especially for such a small speaker. Quality and packaging is super high end. My wife liked it so much that she asked me to order one for her, so our second KIK speaker just arrived a couple days ago. Awesome price for such a great speaker. I probably buy more of these. They will make great gifts.
