I had replaced my exiting RV water pump it had a small air chamber but was still very noisy.This new pump was great a lot less noise and it allows for longer breaks in the time the pump turns on and offHighly recommended

Wasn’t sure if this would work or how well at work, but, it’s for use during power outages in our house as I don’t have a 220 V AC generator to run my well pump.It’s in the basement connected to some IBC tote water storage in case of a power outage.The pressure is just like the house pressure. I wasn’t sure if the pump would have enough lift to reach all the way up to the showers but it does. So, if we really wanted to take a shower and the power was out we could.Someone else had to write up on here about using it on an off grid cabin, this is a great fit.We have a fifth wheel RV in this pump is quieter than the factory pump in our 5th wheel.Time will tell if this holds up as other people have noted seems like they have had pressure switch issues, but, that might’ve been on older models.Connector threads are standard pipe thread and you can get adapters to connect to garden hose fittings making this unit portable if I wanted to use in a remote location with no power. Connect it to your car battery or a spare 12 V DC battery and some sort a a water storage tank, IBC totes work well and you have pressurized water wherever you want.

Used this at cabin. Ended water surge.Continuous water and pump cycles now.Maintains presser.

This is my 3rd Seaflo with Accumulator setup. The first one worked fine in a camper I had a couple years ago. The last two, installed in my new camper have both failed to hold pressure and run indefinitely.I'm convinced that when it hits a certain pressure, it starts pumping air through the intake side. No water leaks, but sounds aerated when it builds pressure and just keeps running.I've bypassed the accumulator tank and the strainer to eliminate those as a leak points, but does the same thing.The water connections are flimsy garbage and NOT a standard pipe thread.Past the return window but still under warranty. No response from the seller.

I just spoke to SeaGate service guy. The Seal Ring and Pressure gate have been done away with. The instructions show them, (outdated instructions) but removing the Gate is said to be an improvement on the system. Instead people are putting their Pressure Gauges inline.Impressive quick reply on the phone.

After going through 2 other brand water pumps and accumulator tanks. This one is perfect. Very quiet, no pulsing and easy to install. Would be nice to have a gauge to see the pressure in the tank but would still highly recommend this product. Make sure you have the space to install and this will make your boating more enjoyable and quiet.
