I should have looked at the picture of a kid. These are okay but a little small for an adult.

There are a few brands of stick-on eye patches for eye wounds. I trust 3M for pretty much anything in the med supplies aisle. This item continues to give a good reason why. The skin around the eye is ALWAYS "sensitive" and even more so when the eye has been hurt somehow, so anyone who wants to sell you a hard core, stick to anything in a hurricane type eye patch... run. The patient is going to need to get something on quickly, that sticks even if there's a scalp wound bleeding down into the eyebrow or side of the ocular cavity, and this will do that while not making the eye feel rough or making it hard to take this off at the clinic/hospital. Eye wounds are scary enough for your patients, don't put them through accidental torture just to keep the eye closed off.This size should fit adults and teens. You don't want it to cover the eyebrow, just inside the ocular cavity. They make a smaller version for kids. These stay ready in my kits to grab-n-go, don't fight my hands (gloved or ungloved) and peel off the backing when I want them to, not before. Even for the ones that have been inside deployed med kits for some time, they haven't gone bad or lost their stick in the dry heat of African deserts versus the cold dry of the Alps and Rockies.

I was afraid to put this eye mask on because I thought it would hurt badly taking it off. The eye patch was easier to wear. It said in the proper position and didn't move around. I have to use a CPAP machine and other mask got tangled up with my CPAP head equipment. It was more comfortable to wear. The other eye patches kept getting too uncomfortable to wear and stay in place. I have lost my sight from my left eye and I will be having the 3rd surgery soon due to my eye pain.
