the Litte Pink book of Cancer Cartoons
I survived breast cancer in 1990 after a partial mastectomy, then double mastectomy in 2014 and in March this year, 2020 was diagnosed with breast cancer in my right lung. I have always had a sense of humor through it all, in attempt to put my family and friends at ease. Since being on radiation treatments now, I do occasional posts to family and friends. Each time I add a little humor/story/cancer/joke or cartoon. I just ordered this book hoping to get some ideas for future posts. I was disappointed in this book. Only a couple things in there that I really thought was funny, some really offensive and I have a good sense of humor when it comes to cancer being a so far 2 time survivor. After reading through it I put it in the waste basket. Didn't feel it was even worth reading. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion. I was sorry I wasted the money.Joyce from Illinois

Cute insights into a BAD situation.
This was a true to life book. It hit on all the problems I experienced. It is always better to laugh than cry, and having a positive approach to this horrible disease helped me bunches. Only problem is I could use more jokes.

Cancer Cartoons
They might not be funny to everyone, but to those of us who have had the experience they can be, and we are legion. This was a cute, albeit short, book about the subject. The drawings were good too!

What a crackup!
Great not for just breast cancer survivors, but people with any type of cancer, people who know or love someone with cancer, people who are afraid of getting cancer, and people who don't have cancer. That's --everyone! As a cancer survivor, I can say it's such a relief to read Kate's (mostly) cancer cartoons and have a good laugh over the big C and life in general. Wonderfully funny, honest, and insightful.

Book was okay.
The book is not quite as humorous as I had thought it might be even with the gravity of the subject matter.

Laughter goes a long way
Enjoyed your book immensely just wish it had been longer. We forget that a sense of humor will thru even the awful things that are part of life. Laugh thru your tears! I haven't had cancer but my life has had plenty of bumps. Bless you Kate Matthews. And thanks for sharing your experiences.
