This is a beautiful platter. Liked it so much I ordered a second one

I wanted something to replace my large light weight Corning Ware platter that isn't available any more. I made one mistake and that is my hubby will cut his food on the platter if I used it for our dinners which will scar this wood platter. So that being said I'm still in search of a light weight glass platter. But, I do love this for its light weight and unbreakable wood. It's quite lovely and I'm keeping it for other uses. I'm very impressed with the quality and get compliments from my guests when I use it to serve food.

Excellent quality - wonderful lightweight platter - I have arthritis in my hands and broke our other platters because they slipped out of my hands so my husband suggested this - not breakable, goes with everything - and if I drop it - it wont break - perfect!!! I liked this one because you could wash it easily. Probably will get another!

Just what I wanted. Unlike many of the other acacia products on Amazon it has some thickness to it. The wood is a little darker than in the picture, but that's just fine. I'm using it to transfer kindling or logs to my fireplace without all the "bits" falling on the floor. Love it!

Truly love this platter......beautiful to serve on as well as functional. Now if I can just get my husband to stop carving meat on it, I'll be a happy wife.

The bowl I expected was a very light wood. You sent a very dark wood. I was dissappointed.
