Baking Mat, 23" x 15", Red

This is the perfect size for pizza dough. I use this instead of the countertop, so my countertop stays clean. This mat is easy to clean and store away. I recommend this mat for anyone who bakes or makes pizza at home.

I bought a bread machine in the Spring and I've been meaning to make dinner rolls. I mean who doesn't like a nice warm dinner rolls? I sometimes go to restaurants just so I can have fresh bread. But the thought of flour going all over the place made me dread it. I have a very large granite countertop but I hate to clean up. Well, I decided to buy this thing and it sat in my shelf for almost three months. My wife asked me what this monstrosity was and I shrugged and told her it was for pies. (Which it is). But this pastry mat is more then that. First of all, the surface is very large. I have a peninsula and the depth covers goes to about center of my peninsula. It creates a really big working space that allows me to (you guess it) roll the dinner rolls out while I get to put the unfinished product around the edge with plenty of room for me to roll them out. The mat is nice and thick but to be safe, I did buy a plastic pizza dough cutter so it won't cut through this guy. Now I just toss ingredients into the bread maker in the dough mode, pull this mat out, throws some flour, cut, roll, and put on the baking sheet and straight into the over for proofing.- Mat is sticky on the bottom. This mat sticks to my granite and doesn't move at all- This mat is nice and thick. It's not flimsy at all- As a bonus, there's a whole section of conversion table on the left. I pretty much know all of it, but it's nice to have a reminder just to be safe.- I've been baking dinner rolls almost every other day (my daughter loves them!)

I use it as a mat for my microwave turntable so I do wish it was a bit thicker. No other company seems to make round ones over 12 inches for the larger microwaves. So glad I found yours.

I like to dabble in bread and pie making. But I was getting tired of scrubbing the countertop after kneading dough and rolling out pie crust. So I ordered the BakeitFun Silicone Pastry Mat. What a great purchase! I just roll it out, throw a little flour on top and start kneaded or rolling. The mat does not slip on the counter. It has never left any marks or residue either. I can keep all the flour on the mat and pick it all up at once to clean it. It is a little cumbersome to wash under the faucet. I usually end up getting a little water everywhere. Nonetheless, everything usually washes right off and I wipe it dry.The mat does have conversion charts, but I have not used them yet. Truly I just forget they are on the mat. I have used the pie crust sizing and that is great. I am not a professional baker so I definitely have a hard time judging pie crust size. Great feature. You can not use sharp tools on the mat or it will damage it. I am now looking for a container to keep it in as I just don't want to put it in a drawer.Overall I gave this mat 5 stars as I love it. Please keep in mind I have only purchased this mat so I cannot compare it to another one.

Wow, what a great pastry mat! It is absolutely perfect. I got the largest one offered after some deliberation. My husband and I just recently remodeled our kitchen, and we installed tile counter tops. Our island used to have a chopping block top on it, which was perfect for working with dough. Now, with the tile, it is a mess. So, I went searching and found this pastry mat. I wanted something that wouldn't slip on the tile, and it certainly doesn't. It it really well set up with rounds for measuring, and more measures on the side. It can be put in the freezer or the oven, and is top rack dishwasher safe. I am so completely pleased with this purchase! It is large enough to use my pasta roller on, which is what I was hoping for. It will do everything I need to do, and was worth every penny. It is more expensive, but it is so much nicer than any other pastry mat I have seen. It is flexible and soft, which makes it easy to store.

Nice product, I've used it a lot for about a month. It is a very large size that I just leave on the counter for my constant baking. Easy to wipe clean. I gave only 4 stars because it does have a tendency to be too sticky (like many silicone items) when NOT in use, but dough typically comes off easily when in use. Also, though durable, this mat is rather thin.. and I occasionally have a problem with it lifting from my wood counter slightly when lifting and kneading dough vigorously. I can only speculate that this would be a real problem with smaller mats, but with the large size that I have it's only a minor annoyance. Btw, due to instructions, I do not cut directly on this mat, including using metal cookie cutters, just in case. I place parchment paper over the mat (mat holds it in place) roll out the dough and cut, remove excess dough, and put entire paper onto cooking sheet.

I bought the biggest one to roll out my dough. Before you rolled out your dough, you have to lightly floured your mat or your dough will sticked. I bought this mainly for rolling out dough or pie dough. This don't slip after you lay it on the table it will stay in place as you roll out your dough.I really do not know how long this will last because it is very thin. I washed it in between use and just hanged it to dry. I liked the size on this one, perfect for the table I use for rolling my dough. One thing I like about this is the circle pattern in the center. I have a guide to roll my dough into a perfect circle. I cut my dough using a bench scraper, pizza roller, biscuit cutter or cookie cutter but "not" sharp knife. I have used mined several times and so far it is good.

This mat was amazing. I used it for Macarons. The Macaron's didnt turn out very well through human error but i did two batches, one on the mat and one on parchment/baking paper and the only edible batch came from the mat. The circles made piping easy, they didnt stick and it was easy to clean. Having the mat has made me want to try them again because it took a lot of fuss out, otherwise i wouldnt want to go in for the hassle. Its also made me hunt for other recipes i could use with the mat. A real pleasure to work with and im definitely looking into getting another one.

the mat is a great baking sheet...for those of you hoping to use it for macarons, please not the circles are too big for that use.

I love this silicone baking mat. It's the size of a regular baking tray and the guides on the mat really help with spacing and the measurements along the sizes are really useful in helping keeping sizing consistent amongst the bake. I use mine for mainly baking cookies and it much easier than using grease proof paper n measuring that out. It allows u to keep them on the mat too cool a little before transferring to a cooling rack, n the mat cools quite quick compared to a baking tray. Easy to clean by wiping down n cause it can roll up it is perfect for storing. Tempted to buy a few more! Definitely recommend this product!
