It’s very good piece of equipment and work very nicely, but as you put the high count coils impedance will go high causing some significant voltage drop. But in general it’s very useful for educational and small experiments and projects. Strongly recommend it.

Claimed to come with extensive instructions. Came with zero (0) instructions. I didn't need them, fortunately.

Came with zero instructions and zero activities as described. Also needs a power source which is not mentioned as a recommendation.
