This is a great lamp. 5 stars. 2 stars for assembly. Maybe 1. There are headless screws at the bottom that are about 1.5 screw threads too short. We replaced the screws and cut the heads off to make it work. Also the weight on the bottom is unattached. Otherwise…matches our other lamps, works great and is quite stylish.

There is only one secure point of attachment for the base, so the sturdiness of the entire lamp rides on one screw. The lamp I received did not have enough threads to attach the bolt, which also appeared to be too large. As another reviewer mentioned, the weighted portion of the base is not attached to the metal cover, so you need to hold up the weight while aligning the top with the metal cover. Given the defective parts I received, this was an exercise in frustration. Returning for a refund rather than requesting a replacement now that I’ve seen how the lamp is assembled. :(

Very pleased with this floor lamp. Price paid was very reasonable for the quality of the product. It is sturdy for it's height but we have wood floors so I can't speak for it's sturdiness on carpeting. Came well protected in the packaging and and was easy to assemble.
