These pads do a fine job of polishing granite, however they are backed with standard hook-&-loop (velcro) felt. Most sanders and my Fein Multimaster use very fine hook-&-loop systems which do not hold these pads securely. Some of the pads fell off unless I applied pressure when I turned-on the sander. I used the system to dry polish the edges of cut 3/4" black granite. Recommend for very small areas to be polished. Circular 4" system with variable speed power tool recommended for longer, wider edges.

I am giving these a five as I had no velcro issues on my Fein multitool. Used them to polish corners of a concrete floor to 800 grit.They cut faster than I expected and are the best thing I have found to deal with corners but if you use them on concrete you need to allow time. They wont keep up with an edge machine or grinder.
