Pros: The mattress stayed inflated for our three days camping trip. The pump stays charged too.Cons: I would have liked the pump to have an indicator that tells me if it's charged or not. You leave leave it plugged in overnight and hope that it's charged.Also the instruction says that we have to keep the pump charged once a week while not in use. That's a task I don't need.

Bought this because I'm getting too old to sleep on the ground comfortably and I still like to go camping by motorcycle. The Klymit pad I was using was letting me touch the ground and I wanted something thicker. The Vertex is much thicker than a regular sleeping pad but still packs down well, smaller than a self inflating pad. The pump is pretty small and gets it inflated in just a couple minutes, you can easily adjust the firmness. Haven't camped with it yet but did inflate it and took a nap, I think it's going to work well.

This is not one of those air mattresses that try to mimic the thickness of a regular queen mattress. It is much thinner and that is a big plus as it is much more comfortable. It doesn't have that trampoline feel. You know, where one person's move tends to bounce the other person off the mattress. Both of us, my wife and I, have been taking our ALPS mattress on trips with us because we are more comfortable on this mattress than on most guest mattresses.

Should have looked closer at the size of the queen. Two standard sleeping bags did not fit on it using the narrow side. We had to turn sideways so one of us wouldn’t fall off. A standard queen is 60 inches.

Arrived without air pump! Needed it for a camping trip. Very disappointing.

Amazing. The best by far. Firm and lasting.

This air bed makes for a comfortable sleep in the high country. It is extremely light weight and inflates rapidly. Somehow it grips your sleeping bag so there is little movement--you wake up and find you are still on the Vertex bed and not on the tent floor.

Great for car tent camping. Easy inflation, deflation. Pump and charger included. Purchased queen size along with a Queen zip-together sleeping bag also from hihiker. Great combo and includes pillows and tent lamp.

This is amazing - I have a thin packing mattress for light weight trips, but we had wanted something a little more luxurious for easier hauls - we tried Coleman mattress which never held air and pump died after a few uses, I figured we would invest in something different - great decision - this holds air unbelievably well - and you don’t feel your partner moving around - I had some fantastic sleeps on this already and looking forward to many more.
