The color is just as it looks after applying it. No darker and no lighter. I love the color. I can't wear any darker colors. This is just right. If you have dark skin lips....you might not notice much of a difference in depth....They are one of my favorite brands because they always look just like the picutres & go on nicely. They stay on well if you don't eat them off.

I am a HUGE fan of NYX products. You simply cannot beat the price for the quality. I am typically a high end snob, so its very rare occurrence when I find a cheaper brand and love it. The butter gloss goes on smooth, and lasts great through everyday wear. You do need to reapply after a meal, but that is to be expected with most lip products that aren't stains.

Lip gliss is great but the cost is definitely too much. I purchased a while ago & it was way cheaper
