Moreish Fairtrade Blue Mountain - Highly Superior Medium Roast Coffee Beans - 1kg

This is really my go-to coffee, for good reason, tasty, fruity and fresh, au drink mine without milk, so can’t comment on the milked up characteristics.

Not medium roast as advertised. Beans are dark roast and bitter.

Soo, I had blue mountain coffee before and this does not come close to it. The first thing that was unexpected is that it comes from two countries. This may come from multiple sources from Two Countries. We are not told more about where it is grown. When I opened it I was surprized by almost black beans almost shiny beans. Hence the big 1Kg bag it comes in. I made a coffee in my coffee machine and waited for my mug to chill. First sips it was really bitter. The previous Blue Mountain I had was veeery smooth and almost silky texture. This cofee did not have that. A positive, this is 1kg decent coffee with good amount of caffeine(so strong).

This is a nice coffee at an excellent price with no difference between my first 2 purchases. I use it within the coffee maker and leave it in the pot for the day and find very little difference between the breakfast cup and my final cup with biscuit in the afternoon.

It’s a good coffee and I find it suits my palette, plus a single shot in a vanilla milk shake works wonders.

The aroma, flavour and lingering aftertaste of a truly excellent coffee are all that any coffee lover would wish to experience, and all that on top of it being a Fairtrade product at an incredibly low price. A product worth having just to enjoy the bean aroma each time I open the kitchen store cupboard 😋👍
