Great pump for the money
Bought this pump to replace the manual fuel pump on my 1980 Dodge D50 when I upgraded to the Weber carb. I located it on the frame under the cab and near the fuel tank. Pump works flawlessly. It is a little on the noisy side, as I can hear it when I come to stop with the window rolled down or when outside the pickup while it is idling. However, once you are in motion, you can't hear it, and it does what it is supposed to do. I wired mine in using a 12v relay from NAPA so that I wouldn't be trying to run it off of the old fuse panel in the D50. I also added an inline fuse between the battery and the relay as an additional precaution. So far it seems to be working great.*Update* I have been daily driving my D50 for the past few months and this pump has been working flawlessly. I decided to remount the pump using a piece of foam weather strip to isolate the pump from the frame, and it is now quiet when running.

300+ miles with no issues.
Installed on a 1997 honda shadow vt600c. Runs great, no issues in over 300 miles. Only thing is if you us the stop switch to turn off bike the pump will keep running. You have to use the key to turn it off. Not a big deal and may just be unique to my bike. Would buy again.

Replaced vacuum pump with this
Excellent product. Used it to swap out the vacuum pump on my scooter. I was tired of the endless priming after it sitting with the vacuum system, but after setting up this mamajama it starts right up every time without wasting any time

Died after 2 weeks
Install was fine and easy, everything appeared to be perfect. After 2 weeks I was driving and the pump stopped working. I tested it by running power directly to it. Nothing. This pump caused more hassles because I had to get a tow home and now I have to reinstall a new pump. Bench test proved the pump is bad. Lesson learned you get what you pay for. This is one of those things you should not skimp on with Amazon junk.

Works great in a marine fuel polishing rig
I rigged this to suck through a stiff, narrow tube that I can stick down to the bottom of a marine fuel tank via the fuel pickup fitting. From there, it pumps into a Yamaha-knockoff marine filter/water separator, then back into the tank (via the tank fill port. Used it to remove a bunch of water and sediment from the bottom of the fuel tank on an old boat. Ran for several hours this way, and also survived a couple of years in the Florida sun. Not sure I would want to use it as the primary fuel pump in a car for a long trip, but worked great for my needs.

Excellent pump.
Several months of use and still going great! Bakes a bit more noise but not objectionable.

It works.
A 30 year old refurbishing of a 1960 now 4x4 1/2 ton pickup. GMC now Heinz. Mid 60 Chevrolet cab, GMC front wrap, 63 Chevrolet 4x4 frame, mid 70 Chevrolet 350 engine, TH-350 trans and transfer case, and axles. Has been an excellent truck, now starting to show it's age again. Fun the first time, now an ordeal. In the last year I've got to rebuild the ignition system, entire cooling system, Fuel pump (now can't use original pump in CA, illegal). Ordered a electric fuel pump, too hign pressure, my bad. Then got to order a new carburetor, again my bad, due to wrong pump, replaced with the right pressure electric pump, Running again. Being some what older than this truck, this is no longer fun.
