Teeny Weenies: And Other Short Subjects

Despite transitioning myself at a comparatively young age, I still really appreciate the view of a person who took longer to realize their trans identity. The author goes into his life when he presented femininely and talks about how he tried to compensate for his identity by embracing femininity, which I really relate to. It's a good thing to see someone with a similar experience.All in all, the personal essays were super enjoyable to read and very relatable for me. The language can be iffy at times--I think at one point he refers to his genitals as being female, which I know might bother some trans people. Ultimately it didn't detract from the book for me though. The erotic fiction was a cute little aside, though I honestly preferred the essays. Regardless, I'd recommend this to anyone interested in FTM experiences.

As a transman who transitioned later in life, this book is spot on for bringing back the memories of my childhood and trying to navigate the world when I was so confused about my gender. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Matt Kailey is a fabulous story teller. He draws you in and leaves you wanting more.

These shorts were not only real they were right on. Anyone of them could have been about me. Given the ability to look back at life thru Matt's eyes gives readers the opportunity to have the hindsight we always wish we had.

A fun read, and highly relatable.

In the early forties my mother read us stories of the TEENIE weenies and it was nothing like this garbage that has no right being listed with children books. If I wanted a book like this crap it sure would not be for my grandkids. It is now ashes.

Great read and insight into a world that few of us really understand. Well-written and concise.
