Mechanix = Trustworthy
This is my second pair of Mechanix gloves. The first pair I owned were the Impact Pro model, although the current design of that particular product differs from my old pair slightly. First of all - my Impact Pros were perfect in every way imaginable. They were consistently comfortable, durable, and saved my hands from a plethora of would-be finger breakers. I used them to renovate an entire house (demolition, drywall, roofing) and over the course of three years, they lasted with minimal wear and tear. I had to replace them because I accidentally left them behind on a recent trip, so I figured I should take a step up. These M-Pact IIs take everything you'd expect from a Mechanix glove and tweak it to the max. These gloves are comfortable, allow for tremendous dexterity, and provide more than adequate protection in a wide variety of tasks. As soon as I got these in the mail, I slid them on and built a solid reloading bench in the basement. They were as comfortable as if I had owned them for months prior breaking them in. Anyone looking for a comfortable, reliably durable and protective glove, BUY THESE!

Feels like armor for your hands.
It's a great pair of gloves, with some light rubber protection strips over the fingers, and soft protection over the knuckles. The palm is sturdy - padding on the heel of the palm allows for some extra bump protection. I love these gloves. I love the look, I love the cut, I love the dexterity it allows for, I love the protection, I love how secure my hand feels in it.

*New* M-Pact 2 Covert by Mechanix Wear
To start off, I work for FedEx Freight on the loading dock and I'm very hard on gloves. But when it's time for new gloves I always order Mechanix Wear gloves. Reason for this is after trying multiple different brands and styles Mechanix gloves hold up the best and provide my hands with the best protection. The M-Pact 2 Coverts have become my go to glove for work. They are comfortable, durable, decently priced (although cheaper is always better!) and provide good protection. No glove lasts forever, especially if your work requires a lot of using your hands!I'd also like to correct some incorrect information from previous reviews here on Amazon. Yes, the picture for this listing here on Amazon's site is incorrect. The picture is of the old style/design.The picture I have posted with this review is the new/current design by Mechanix. No, these are not cheap knock offs or an incorrect style. If you go to Mechanix Wear's official website you will see that this is in fact the new style/design for the M-Pact 2 Covert. MP2-55-010 (Large)Again, the picture listed on Amazon's site is of the old style/design. If you place an order for these gloves on Amazon you will receive the gloves pictured here with this review, not the ones shown on Amazon's listing! Hope this helps clear up any confusion!

Awesome everything glove!
Good gloves for truckers, shooters, and just about any other chore or hobby that requires hand protection. Yep, I will also use them for mountainbiking! I trust the brand and they are made with good materials. I lost my last pair and couldn't find a size small at my local Walmart but I am glad that I found it on Amazon. These are not cheap gloves but my hands are worth it! Pros: True to size. Great finger and knuckle protection. Protection in the palm and thumb section is good, (not to thick or thin.) Prime eligible and got it in two days. Cons: Price? How much are your hands worth? Priceless. Need I say more. Buy a pair. You wont regret it.

Awesome gloves with one tiny imperfection...
I bought these gloves maybe 8 months ago and they are the best gloves I've ever owned!! I use these gloves for outside work. These gloves have kept my hands warm while shoveling snow, also lifting furniture and appliances (amazing finger dexterity and grip) plus moving wood with my friends, they really help against the splinters and when your accident prone friend drops a log on your hands, the padded knuckles cannot be beat! The only issue I've had was the velcro on the strap used to secure the gloves has come unglued, the velcro holds but the rubber strap flops loosely, but if you size them correctly they won't come flying off your hands...all in all if you're looking for gloves that are for fun or for work in any condition, these are definitely the ones to buy.

I've used these for quite awhile now..
I've been using these gloves for quite awhile, and they're perhaps the best set I've ever had. They fit well, not tight, not loose. They stay warm, maybe even too warm, even in the coldest environments. The various features, like finger protection and the wrist strap, serve to spoil the wearer; no other glove will measure up after trying these babies on. Some might consider these overkill for basic tasks, like raking leaves, shoveling snow, or moving equipment, but I'm a buy-it-for-life kind of guy and I'd rather have one durable, highly effective pair than a bunch of cheap pairs that rip, tear, or fail me.

Not as advertised
They show pictures of an older model (which i liked) then send a different newer model (which is worse IMO) I guess they bank that you wont take the time to send them back. Misrepresentation of the product. Very unprofessional way to do business.
