Q: The diagram shows depth of the hook as 1.24" but the seller says .9" in an answer. Which is it? I want to hang it on a metal partition.

I’m sorry I just hung it on my toilet tank

Q: Won't the insert get rusty inside the tank

This is the second one I have purchased in about 12 years and yes the first one did finally rust and break but for the price I love it and would get another one for sure. I have a very small bathroom so this is wonderful I think. The only other option I might would try is the stand that holds extra rolls in the bottom and has a roll holder on top.

I have a slightly curved toilet and it works very well. In fact I liked it so well I bought another one for a different toilet. I was equally pleased the second time. Both fit snug to the toilet.
