Most comfortable minimalist shoe I now own
Im a shoe guy. Always have been, always will be. I own 4 different pair of high dollar Minimalist "barefoot" shoes. I just went out and grabbed these from the mailbox hoping they would fit and be comfortable. I normally buy overseas shoes a half size larger, but since Amazons advice was to buy "same/normal" , I did. I'm still in awe as to why these low priced shoes fit better, are more comfortable and STILL live up to the quality standards as my other expensive ones. You wouldnt think that with the price of these and the diff. colors offered, they would be everything you would hope for and expect when it comes to quality, fit and size, but to top it all off they are the most comfortable I own by far. Im glad I took the chance after Im sure many of you as I have, been burned by an inferior product and not represented accurately. But .... Ive gotta say .... Ill be buying another and maybe another pair if these hold up fairly well. If you like the wide, open toe box and no heel to toe drop like myself, these are a great value for your money. They also have more cushion in the insole as my other styles have. I wear steel toed boots throughout the week and these are gonna feel great to slip on after work and the day is done. Update: Still holding together we'll since my purchase. I've got them filthy with having them on constantly and need a darker pair. Lol. Simple Green cleans them well. Have not broken down or lost support on the soles. I'm ordering again. Black.Update to the update: A year and a half later ... My soles are wearing through. Put alot of miles on these. Ordering another pair. Still as comfortable as the day I grabbed them from the mailbox. I've worn them alot ... Got them filthy ... Put ALOT of miles in them. Still love em. My go to shoe still. Just now need another pair! Bought a pair for my son soon after receiving these too. I've read alot of reviews mentioning how goofy these look ... Im 52 years old and these have been kidded about a lot as my "bigfoot" shoes. Well ... I've always thought bigfoot was a badass. Im not sacrificing my comfort over style. You should t either.

My Favorite Gym Workout Shoes
I am not a runner. But I like great traction when doing suspension exercise routines (TRX, etc). I also like minimal shoes when I workout on cardio or while lifting. These fit just as expected. Nicely roomy toe box. Good looks. My favorite feature is the OUTSTANDING traction. If you are into suspension & bodyweight exercises, these shoes will be comfortable and will NOT slip.

Review as a general weightlifting shoe
I've tried on a handful of styles of this type of shoe for the purpose of lifting weights in a flat, nearly barefoot — and most especially cool — shoe, and these are a cut above all the rest I've tried, which were all promptly returned. These have a very light and flexible rubber outsole with a very elastic and breathable mesh upper. Because of this there are no weird pressure points anywhere, as is the case with every other ill-fitting analog I've ever tried on. These are just fantastic — comfort, fit, breathability, all A+ as far as I'm concerned.I can't vouch for their durability for the purposes of running because I don't run; I simply dislike the feeling of heavy sneakers when lifting. I would just work out in crew socks if I were allowed to do so in a public gym. If I were to guess, these might last a couple months tops in a rigorous running regime. Then again, a pair of Merrells for $75 or so may get you scarcely more use than this. For my money these might be worth a shot for a runner. I do see a bit lacking in the fusion of the toe cap with the mesh upper, which shouldn't be a problem since, as mentioned, there is a good fit here with a ton of flexibility to eliminate the tension points around the outsole's border which wears out shoes. Almost all sneakers and trainers have historically been ill-shaped to levels of idiocy that are incomprehensible to me, especially Nikes, so the emergence of minimalist and zero-drop shoes in recent years is a good thing.Such a style of shoe isn't meant 'last' I suppose but serve a purpose. It's just important that you get the right size. I for example intended to wear these in black with normal black crew-length socks with a bit of thickness, so I went with 12.5 which is my upper size. This is an outstanding fit and feel as compared with the Converse I'd been wearing for lifting — Converse have really gone to **** over time, and yet they remain $60 or so. But ANYWAY, were I to buy another pair this summer to be worn with the invisible nylon socks I'd probably go down a half size to 12 to prevent heel slippage (I have a slightly shorter right foot). The inclusion of half-sizes is another sign of an excellent shoe product. An additional bonus is the fact these are very easy to slip on and off. I find zero negatives here. As a foot-sweater and a general disliker of weight on the feet, and a wide-foot-haver, these shoes were a great find.

4.5/5 Stars. Goofy looking, but comfortable at a great price compared to other running shoes.
I bought these on my girlfriends account, so I decided to hop on here and write a review after I got them in the mail. I’ll summarize this review in the title, but I’ll cut to the chase. I give this buy 4.5/5 stars. Let me tell start by saying these shoes are a bit goofy looking, but comfortable. If you don’t care too much about looks I can almost say 5/5. The second issue I would have with the shoes is that my toes are exposed. Obviously the tips have a bit of protection, but if I drop something on my foot I would definitely feel it. I would say more than your average pair of Jordan’s or converse shoes. The main reason I decided to get these shoes were for the traction on the bottom. I’m always running so I needed something versatile and cheap. A big reason I gave the product 4.5 stars is because of the price. The shoes get the job done at price that’s less than half what you would pay for an average pair of running shoes. I say if it looked better and had a bit more padding it could be 5 stars, but overall it’s a good deal.

Super comfortable, great grip
I am fond of Merrell's trail gloves, but they tend to be a bit expensive and too colourful. It's getting difficult to find a plain dark coloured one. These are much cheaper, and feel more "barefoot", including the "Vibram 5 finger"-esque look (which I am honestly not too fond of. But they are very comfortable to walk on. They're also better ventilated and feel cooler. They are more cushiony than the Merrell's trail gloves when walking around. I don't run in them, so that's fine. I use them for office work, where I need to sit in an office chair and move it around. The fantastic grip is great for this purpose, as I hate it when I'm trying to push the chair forward and backward while seated and am unable to get a good grip on the floor to do this easily. The fact that the soles curve around the heel and the toebox only makes it better.

NOT a barefoot shoe
I gave it a try since these are about a third of the price of Xero shoes. However, the title is misleading, as this is NOT a barefoot shoe. There is no noticeable heel drop and the sole is relatively flexible, but there is a very high arch support that turns my foot to the outside. They also run small, and the toe cap is really stiff and uncomfortable, and not quite wide enough. Not a whole lot of leeway with the adjustments because of the way the laces are set up, either, so it's hard to stuff your foot in through all the padding. I'd say half a size bigger would fit ok, and this would be a comfy shoe and looks well made, but I HATE having arch support and my toes crammed together. I am not happy with this purchase and will hopefully be able to process a return once the system catches on that I have received them.Tl;dr: 1 star for false advertising

Too small and narrow, and (surprisingly) narrow as well
I ordered 9.5 because that is supposed to be equivalent to European size 42. The shoes I received have a sticker on the bottom with "42". My size 42 Birkenstock sandals fit my feet perfectly, however these "size 42" shoes are far too short. My toes are literally jammed into the ends. Also, I was surprised to find these shoes to be very narrow. I have an average width foot and these shoes are quite tight on width. The "wide toe box" advertised is barely sufficient for my "normal" feet. If you have wide feet I would think twice about these. I am returning them and will not be ordering another size because it feels too much like rolling the dice. Will size 10 fit? Will 10.5 be way too big? Waste of time. Sorry.

Great Alternative to 5-Finger Vibrams
I had a pair of Five-Finger Vibram shoes for many years and really liked them. When they finally wore out and smelled a bit more than I was willing to put up with, I started looking for a replacement. I started out looking at Five-Finger options, but the pair I had were no longer available, I didn't like the replacement options, and the price had gone way up. So I purchased a pair of Oranginer Men's Barefoot Shoes to give them a try. The first pair I purchased were great -- very comfortable -- although not big enough to wear with socks. I bought this second pair in blue, a half-size bigger, to wear in the winter with socks. They are my go-to shoes when I go out for a walk, which is almost every day.

Comfy shoe and easy to clean.
Wore them all summer with no socks, was able to wash them in the sink and they were dry the next morning. They fit very close, I bought a size larger and socks are not an option. The doohickeys that control tension in the laces are fragile both broke soon after purchase. This didnt matter as the shoe fits snug enough on its own, but still worth noting.I wont be buying them again but that is not the fault of the shoe. I just bought these to see how I like the minimalist style. Moving on to a more pricey pair in hiking boot format.
